| OMG they found him. I have been waiting on tenterhooks to discover how they would rescue him and now they are so close.
I am looking forward to finding out how far into insanity he has sunk, whether his hallucinations (I am guessing he has been having them) are of Hermione and why...is he ever going to admit to her that he loves her?

| Merkin’s Beard! Pook, now see here, we can’t be having a mad Severus running about, that would take all the fun out of it! Let’s just slip him a little Haldol, let Hermione slip into his mind (and perhaps his bed ;-) and all will be well again. Aren’t I the little optimist? Actually, I am wondering if something wasn’t already slipped into his mind to make him think Hermione was playing him false, or was that his greatest fear, which the Dementors played on? I had been wondering if this was how Hermione’s slick Salamander supplied super power was to be used, and we also now know why you kept the mangy cur, umm Sirius that is, in the story. Very clever putting the three of them together, but I still have to wonder if the ‘barmy old codger’ would really allow the three of them, a student, a fugitive and a foul-mouthed familiar, on such a dangerous rescue mission. Then again, it really was the only option. And damn it Pook, you yet again got me excited, I ran to my old battered Altoids tin and tapped the hell out of it with my chopstick, and still NOTHING! Bloody Fuck! (You are a bad influence, hubby thinks I’m nuts now) Please keep up the great writing, as myself and your legions of fans eagerly await your next installment. Chow for now. Author's Response: Yay! Wolf thinks I'm a bad influence! I'm terribly flattered! Clever girl, you are quite correct about this being why I brought Sirius back from the dead; plus the fact that he's just fun to play with. As for Albus, he does at least try to talk Hermione out of it, but Albus is a Gryffindor as well, and I expect he simply cannot resist a good rescue mission. As far as Severus' madness goes, you'll just have to wait and see! *smirk* I must confess, a secret little evil part of me just adores these cliff hangers. I'm a bad girl!
