Quite a good reason why he's not dead! I never saw that coming, although un retrospect, it's quite amazing and simple.
Can't wait for the epilogue :-) I'm so glad that I found this story (late as I did, but nonetheless)
Love: soimobsessive_m Author's Response: You know what I find the hardest part about writing? Trying to foreshadow things without being too heavy handed and giving things away! True, I throw the odd red herring in, but I was sure that when I had Severus musing about the curse-blocking properties of Yppotrill tusk I'd have a bunch of readers go "A-HA!" I'm thrilled you thought it made sense without being too predictable. Lol, you know, I've got a reputation for happy endings. I'd never write anything else without some heavy warnings at the beginning of a fic! | Thank goodness! I was terrified after the last chapter that you'd killed Severus off for good! *Puts away flaming torch*
The last part of the chapter was very funny... loved the mental image of Severus laid out unconscious, and everyone else knowing what they'd been up to *snickers* And, of course, the 'Oh my God, you were alive and I've killed you!'. That has to be one of my most favourite lines *ever*
I saw you replied to someone else's review that Severus didn't think about accio... but surely a potion vial wouldn't stand up to being dragged through doors and such the way a broomstick would, so Turpin's role in fetching it is essential ^.~
(and, wow, I think this is the longest review I've ever written! ^^) Author's Response: Bless your heart for finding me some creative justification! Too true! A vial of delicate potion like that simply wouldn't hold up under all that Accio madness! :D Glad you liked this chapter, and put the torch down! *giggle* I couldn't resist giving Hermione that line, it made me laugh! And the fact that everyone knew what was going on behind doors; I was dyin' when she opened the door to see everyone either embarassed or laughing. Bless Dumbledore for his discretion. | just to let you know...i would have been glad to lead the torch wielding readers to your door as i would have carried the battering ram my self...lol...i love this story...i am sad to see it end....but i loved it so much...i really loved turping...cant wait for the epilogue...gotta have some closing smut...lol...keep up the good work...
