| A CLIFFIE?!? You left us with such a cliffhanger? You mean, evil, wicked, Slytherin Pook! That was a stunt worthy of the Snarkmaster himself! Urrrg! And you almost made me cry; you haven’t made me cry since Bob. (Bob? Oh dear! Not EVEN going there!) Yes, I know, you would never *really* kill off dear Sevie, or else you would face the wrath of your many readers…..just like with Bob Ah well… A Happy Bloody New Year to you! ;-> Actually, I am blaming you entirely for the addition of a new expletive to my vocabulary….I had to explain to hubby where I had suddenly come up with ‘Oh bloody fuck’ during the holidays. Told him it was your fault; you have sucked me into too many of your stories, and then I see it again in this chapter! As usual, all of my rantings aside, this was a wonderful chapter. We went from 114 hugs to “The Kiss” and lots of angst on top of it all. The scenes with Turpin were brilliant and touching. (NOW will he finally get to meet Crooks?) I can just imagine him burrowing his head into the nearest armpit, my cat does the same thing when upset. I await your next chapter with worms on my tongue (redneck translation:: with baited breath :-) Author's Response: Do you fish? Are you a master baiter? *gigglegiggle* Soory, I couldn't resist, I come from a long line of fisherpeople. I know, I know, my Slytherin was showing with that nasty cliffhanger. The good news is I finally managed to write chappie 16 and it is at the intrepid beta's even as we speak...er...type! *giggle* I must admit, the phrase "bloody fuck" is becoming one of my personal favorites. If I am spreading it around willy-nilly, I will happily accept the blame! You are quite correct, by the way, I will never kill off the snarky Potions master. Sorry I almost made you cry, er, well ok, I'm not sorry at all! I'm thrilled it meant enough to you to make you even think about getting weepy! | Well, that's not nice at all! Good chapter, though. :) I can't get over how YOUNG Hermione seems in this story. I think most people (myself included) try to portray her much older than she really is. I think you've managed to capture her true age here. Also, it's nice to see Severus fall in love with a Hermione who acts her age. Thanks for the chapter! Author's Response: Lol, she does indeed seem like a 17 year old. I didn't want her to seem too mature, nor did I want her to act like she's only 13 (as many Hermione fics seem to do) So I hope I found a happy medium. *giggle* As Turpin often says, my Severus is a touch pervy, but she's legal so he's hardly a cradle-robber. Thanks for the kind review, and I hope to have chapter 16 up soon! :) | |||
