Ah, I like Andrene. Hot and spicy food, not so much. I'm definitely in Hermione's catagory of 'prefers bland food'. *giggles* Andrene really shouldn't encourage Turpin's misbehaving... that said, I laughed myself silly when he did.

Author's Response: Lol, Andrene knows how to have fun. I think her and Turpin make excellent partners in crime! I'm a bit between Hermione and Severus spicy food wise. Doro Wat is a bit too hot for me, unless I'm feeling very brave. Jerk Chicken is lovely and I'm a big fan of curry. :)

Huh. Ron making sense and not being livid about it. That's semi-disturbing. HAHA! I'm not the only one addicted to my teas! I've got this Lapsang Souchoung (sp?) from Stash that I heard is used to make a drink called Malaysian Iced Tea. It's got that, half and half and brown sugar. The Lapsang is a very very smoky black tea. I love it to death, but drink it vary rarely. It's soothing to my mind and palate. It's loose tea, as most US bag teas are crap (unless they're somewhat herbal).

Author's Response: Most US bag teas are worthless except for making iced tea. Lapsang Souchong is quite lovely indeed. I like the China greens best though and I like the India blacks. I gave Severus Darjeeling simply because it's my own favorite. *snort* Yup, I gave poor Ron half a brain! I get a bit tired of Ron being an eternal 13 year old in fanfic, so I tend to go the other way. Not that I can't enjoy a Childish!Ron fic, but I don't want to write one. :)

Like Turpin needs expansion of his vocabulary. *snorts* That's all I have to say.

Author's Response: ROFL! True, but he's having such a good time! :)

That boggart of Hermione's is very funny. I wonder if Remus's boggart would ever flucuate like Hermione's just did. I still want to hex Black.

Author's Response: I'm not sure how JKR's boggarts work, but in my mind, folks fear different things at different times in their lives. Now poor Remus has an unusual situation, so I imagine his boggart would stay fairly constant. But that's just one woman's thoughts on the matter. (Sorry, no hexing Sirius, but you know, I did let him get bit a little.) :)

Turpin! Awh, he's so cute! I wonder who can curse better, him or Snape? I love how you've got them bantering humoursly.

Author's Response: I think Turpin is the best idea I ever had. I just adore him. I specifically went looking for a familiar for Severus before I started this fic, and when I read about Jarveys, I thought, "Perfect!" Lol, now, of course, I'm afraid I'll never come up with a clever idea again. The worry of all writers. Of course, in the next fic I have planned... :)

Hehe, already read the story, but I love how Hermione already wants to claim the room as her own.

Author's Response: I see a lot of simularities between Hermione and Severus, and I admit I play on those when I write a story. I also tend to give them things I want myself! I want that room and all those books! Lovely! :D

I really want Snape to hex Black. Really. Git. Also, I had to look up British slang online and at my local library to figure out exactly what things meant. Git being one of them, didn't know how offensive a term it was at first. Us poor unknowledgable Yanks.

Author's Response: I just adore Brit slang. I'm afraid I don't always use it correctly, but I certainly have a lot of fun! :)

“Why Minerva, I’m afraid I don’t see what’s wrong with our behavior. Miss Granger and I always take a nap together at this time of day.” Ah, King Snark himself. I imagine when surrounded by his feelings of protectiveness, Hermione feels like she's being swaddled in a huge soft and warm blanket that's just come out of the dryer. The comfort he gives her sounds lovely.

Author's Response: Lol, I couldn't resist that line of his. I imagine him already quite grumpy by the situation; having to deal with a protective Minerva would put him right over the edge! *Sigh* I want a Severus security blanket too! :)
