| Poor Turpin...THe poor baby...no one to help him remain calm during the battle.. I loved the chapter, pooka. It was well done, emotionally poignant and *sigh*. I certainly hope the ending of the Return of the King, and the ensuing discussion will be foreshadowing of the return of both Severus and Hermione...*glaring at pooka, if that is not the case...* Now that you've finished your THREE entries in the SF, please UPDATE this one again SOON!! Congrats on your placing in the SF, however, I want to see this one finished soon!! Author's Response: I promise I will do my best to write faster! I'm not working on anything else at the moment, but I have jury duty on top of my job this week, so that's bound to slow me down a bit. | Battle/War for that matter is never as glorious as the victor's historians say. Mostly because they (the historians) were not there to witness it, it's more that they took interviews after it was over and from a safe distance from aftermath. It's a horrid event....always. I hope for Severus' sake that his experience in this fray will not leave his heart in little pieces to be swept up with the cleaning of house-elves, nor do I wish a similar fate for our esteemed Heroine. Happy writing. Author's Response: War is never pretty, even if it is being fought for honorable reasons, which so often seems not to be the case. I'm having quite a mental workout as I figure out what i want to do with a bunch of wizards fighting. Don't get your hopes up too far though; I'm no Tolkien and I have no intention of writing a complete play by play! I'll do my best not to break too many hearts, though1 Thanks for the thought filled review! I love hearing what people think! :) | |||

| At last, the battle begins! I've been waiting for this moment for a long time! I hope both of them can come out unscathed, because I would be devasted if one of them died! I can sympathize with Turpin, how sad he must be kowing that Severus might not come back, I could tell how much Turpin loves Severus. Hope Snape kicks Voldie's ass. Voldie should've been dead a long time ago, and hope he meets his demise with them. Nomrally, I don't ask the authors to updaate often, because I know they're busy, but please, please, please, update as fast as you can! I was on the verge of combusting by the end of the chapter, I don't know how much more I can wait! Cheers! Author's Response: I will try my very best to get the next chapter done before too awful long. What with my work starting back up on top of jury duty, it may be just a bit before i can manage it. Turpin's early life was pretty awful, much as I expect severus' was, so it's little wonder they have found kindred souls in one another. I will do my best not to break Turpin's heart!
