| (A very guilty Lotm hastily pushes an all-but-purring Turpin out of her lap and behind her back, blushing. She elbows him when he pokes a whiskered nose past her shoulder, attempting to hide her new familiar.) Erm...Turpin? I don't know who or what you're talking about! You, ah, should probably check the expiration date on that milk-carton; clearly, you're (elbow, nudge) experiencing a lactose-induced hallucination regarding (nudge, shove!) the presence or absence of any lovable yet foul-mouthed jarveys in the epilogue of this story (Shh, Turnip-breath, get down and behave!), but...um...just in case there *were* any adorable, soft-furred, foul-mouthed critters by that name... Jarveys don't like getting in their fur. (peeks at Plaid, who's now playing with the furry critter at her back) ...Do you think they bought it? ;-D ~Lotm Author's Response: I bought it! *snicker* I think I shall have to demand joint custody though. | This story was lovely, really. I do enjoy this epilogue. It was very sweet but where is Turpin ? Author's Response: Lol, Hermione is lying on a beach in Jamaica next to a scantily clad Severus Snape, I hardly think Turpin would be much on her mind! Turpin is, of course, home playing with Crookshanks. Thanks for reading! :) | |||

| she simply had to try to stop pawing him in class. Aww, poor baby! Life so hard for Severus.... heh-heh! Then he had tossed Crookshanks unceremoniously out of the bedroom and taken her to bed. Smart of Severus to do that! Very important to let Crooks know from the start where he ranks - Severus gets Hermione first, then Turpin, then Crooks. Hey, wait a minute..... WHERE'S TURPIN???? Author's Response: Well, they don't let Turpin watch anymore than they do Crooks! I expect the two are happily playing hide and seek somewhere! :) | |||
