| Rats! I still want to see Turpin take on Sirius! Besides, Turpin lives there with Severus and Hermione, so he should be defending his territory, and - hey, where WAS Turpin this entire chapter?? You didn't off him, did you?? (glares at Pook) Author's Response: LOL! I do solemly swear that no Turpin's will be harmed it the making of this fanfic! For one, my ferrets (not to mention my fiance) would never forgive me! It would be cold times in the Pook household indeed if I let anything happen to Turpin. But he can't be in EVERY chapter, June! But then again, it shouldnt really come as a surprize that that is his greatest fear - failing Albus, failing everyone. My heart went out to him. Author's Response: "Gruff and delectable" I think that's the most perfect description of Snape I've ever heard, Tarah! Sound like a fic title to me! Hear us all chanting?? This is a lovely compelling and slightly addictive story. Although my idea of Sirius doesn't quite mesh with the overbearing charcter you've portrayed, I *love* how Harry picks up on the other side of Snape just like Hermione and the undercurrents of attraction... Author's Response: Could it be that you might want more? Or was that just a rumor I picked up somewhere? *snicker* More coming as soon as I can get it written. Sirius might be a bit overbearing, but Snape does have that effect on him! lol Glad you are getting a kick out of it! :) | |||

| Oh hon, that is wonderful! Severus is in deep. Deeper, that is. He stays behind the wards when she's upset because he knows that he'll only make it worse and then lets her accost him. That's two accostings in one chapter--I'm sure that I approve. I'm with Severus, Hermione should have hexed Sirius--would have been completely forgiveable, she was in a tumult, couldn't control herself. Ah but it might have upset Remus and Harry and that may well have made her situation worse. Would have been lovely to see though. I can already tell that I'm going to like the Firewalker; that grin tells all. You are a goddess Pook! Can't wait for the next bit and congrats on all the reviews. Author's Response: If there is one thing I regret in this story, it's that Hermione doesn't get a chance to hex Sirius! But I just couldn't make it fit, what with her having all those emotions overtaking her. Poor stubborn Severus, he is a taouch transparent. But he's still stubborn, don't worry about Hermione having too easy a time with him! *smirk* Thanks for the review, I'm so glad you like it so far! :) | |||

| I love it! I love it! I love it!!!!!!!!!!!! Each chapter manages to surpass the last. Both Harry and Remus are able to act like adults and see that Severus is really good to and for Hermione!! I wanted to hex Sirius myself for being such a childish git!!!!! I love the caring way that Severus hold and comforts her! I do believe that he is going to miss Hermione's presence now that the Firewalker is here. Or Is she going to discover there is a deeper connection between Severus and Hermione than anyone has realized!! just a fabulous original story!!! MORE!!!!! Author's Response: Thank you NQ! | Uh oh...I really hope you're not going to use the Firewalker as a third wheel between Severus and Hermione. She can interupt Severus and Hermione's weekend...but....oh! Considering she's an empath as well, I would assume she'd be able to notice the two's feelings for one another. Maybe even push it along a little further?? ^_~
I love Turpin as well. He's such a Dick! (pun intended) I also loved Sirius' reaction and Hermione's too! ^_^ YAY!!! KIck his butt Hermione! At first I was wondering if SS was a little oc...but I don't think so. It seems more that he knows Hermione can sense what he's feeling and so his barbed insults don't hurt when she knows he doesn't really mean them.
Great fic, hope to read more!
