| that stupid sob! ok well this has to get fixed. urgg i haven't been reviewing latly because i was planning on doing so when i had more time but despite my crunch for time i must ask how this man we all know and love can be so very very daft. stupid git argh it's evil i tell you Author's Response: Lol, well said! | Oh, I liked that, it was so realistic and in canon. I mean, I don't generally like the whole 'Let's have Snape push Hermoine away because he's a big bad Death Eater and he's going to sully her good virginal sensibilities and reputation' thing (no offense, it's just become a HG/SS cliche) BUT!!! (and there's a big but), I enjoyed their interaction and the way you wrote it (and THEM). It was perfect - it was Hermoine and it was Snape, completely IC. I think that's the best that type of scene has ever been written. I do enjoy this story because you seem to have a great feel for JKR's characters, but you've made them your own. Keep up the great work. Author's Response: Thank you so much! I agree it's a bit of a cliche, but I'm having such fun with it! | Oh my - you write *good* fights! Severus should've known better than to tell Hermione that he knows what's best for her. That's about the worst thing you can say to someone else, particularly a teenager. I shall wait for your next update with bated breath, as usual. Author's Response: Glad you liked the fight, Doomie! I must say that having a man, or anyone for that matter, tell me that they think they know what's best for me is a pet pieve. Oh, I enjoy advice, I just done' like patronising! | oh pooka sounds like things are boiling over. an we have to wait until ch 21. that is cruel. but i guess a chapter of brooding is necessary. so what will dear remus impart as far as wisdom to severus? or will he bug the heck out of him. telling him how hermione has become a big flirt and "boys" are following all over themselves to get near her. thanks for the update. Author's Response: *giggle* Now that's an interesting idea, but I think I'll skip the "Hermione gets rejected and turns into big flirt" bit. Wouldn't be effective with Severus locked in the basement, at any rate. Nope, I've got something a little different planned, you'll have to let me know what you think of it. | plot wise this is another great chapter, but I can't help but feel that the beginning seems a little...stilted? The shift from narration to thought was abrupt and I'm not sure that it was needed. Surely Severus would have mused upon the happenings in the castle above, giving you an opportunity to portray business as usual? The break in perspective makes it hard to reconsile with the later emotional outburst. Author's Response: Excellent point. I am still haveing a bit of trouble with my segues. I'll have to work on that. Thank you for the kind advice! I know I've still got much to learn, but I am certainly having a good time learning it! :) | |||
