| Nuh-uh, I don't buy it. If he was really dead, then Albus or someone would have said something. Plus, they all seemed confused about why Hermione was so upset, which only makes sense if Severus isn't dead. The only thing I can't figure out, though, is why he isn't dead. Was it because the spell glanced off him? Or was Hermione subconciously protecting him in some way? Argh, so many questions! Author's Response: Now, would Pook let Severus be really dead? I'm glad you picked up on the clues, I wasn't at all sure I'd made them obvious enough. As to why he's not dead, that will have to wait until the next chapter! Thanks! :) | |||

| I stopped reading when Snape was hit... because of the shock. I only started reading again, because I saw no warning of "character death" in the summary and the whole is categorized as "romance". And: because I remembered you to be a nice, friendly and kind author and not as cruel and heartless as one might think now :-) Please make sure I´m not ging to be disappointed. | I will be in the front line of that mob if Lotm is wrong, Pook. Front. Line. It's a great chapter, though, it's very difficult to write a battle scene that doesn't bore me to tears, but you kept me on the edge of my seat! Please update in very short order, as I will be on pins and needles about S's fate. *looks around shiftily* Psst... hey, it's "Crucio," btw... Author's Response: Duh! How in hell did I miss that one? Of course it's Crucio! Too many Cruciatuses in that bit, little wonder I forgot to change the spoken spell. Thanks love! You rock!
