| I liked Ron's reactions to the news of Snape's affection for Hermione. A lot more mature than I'd give him credit for, but humorous nonetheless. Draco's chiding of Harry for ogling Snape was also quite funny. Well written! Please update soon with more Firewalker lessons. Author's Response: Thank you so much! Yes, I suppose Ron was acting terribly mature, (well, except for the pod person remark) but poor Ron can't be forever written to throw a complete hissy fit over Hermione and Snape. Maybe I'll let him throw one in my next fic. :) | |||

| Excellent character introspection! ie I adored being able to wiggle around Severus' cerebellum! It was warm and squidgy and I got that million-fluffy-pink-bunnyrabbit feeling in my chest again. I hope Hermione will read this stupid, stubborn man like a book when he's in her presence next, but she's probably too honorable to do such a thing.... DAMN GRYFFINDOR!! *SHAKES FIST!!* I loved the small detail you mentioned about Minerva giving him a "peck on the cheek or the forehead from time to time". It speaks of their relationship as well. They are more than just colleagues. She cares about what happens to him and lets him know in small ways. That makes me happy. He isnt totally alone. Author's Response: I'm glad you like Severus and Minerva. I like that as well. I don't think I could write a Sev who was all alone. Far too piteous for wussy little me! Thanks sweetie! :) | |||

| Argh! I would not be surprised if you never ever spoke to me again. Where have I been? I must have been blind. No excuse I could make would even be good enough. I just saw this story over the weekend and saw your name attached--and then I saw that you already had 9 chapters written. Honestly, *falls to knees to beg forgiveness* can you EVER forgive me for not following this most exceptional story from the beginning? Where do you come up with your ideas? I am floored. What impresses me most, however, is that someone has come up with a character that I may favor even more than our most esteemed Severus Snape. I *love* Turpin!! A jarvey?? I want one!! I love the way you are building the suspense in this. Lord, you are good at that. Anyway, I think we should all start mailing lists of some sort so we can notify each other of new stories and such....I feel like such a dolt right now. BUT I *did* get to enjoy 9 full chapters all at once -- and then the 10th this morning when I logged on to review, so in a way I got a *real* treat! Author's Response: *gigglegigglegiggle* How can I possibly be the least bit upset by someone who tells me such pretty things! I don't know where the idea for this one came from, about half way through NJ, I said to my beta, "I think I'll make Hermione an Empath in the next one." Little plot bunny grew into this. | Hmm...I guess I never reviewed this chapter. I enjoyed it a lot, though. I loved the "half truth" part. Made me smile :D<--like that. Once Hermoine begins to be able to "read" Snape, life is going to get very interesting. Anyway, off to the next chapter. Sorry I didn't review sooner! Author's Response: Lol, Zambi, you don't have to review every one! Although I'm certainly NOT complaining! *giggle* I rather liked that half-truth part as well, I wonder if Snape knew it was only half true when he said it. :) | |||
