| Oh, dear. I think I'm starting to understand what's happened to her. Is it just her emotions, I wonder, or is she also going to be empathic? That would really be difficult to bear. | Ack! Torturous and mortifying? Count me in! Can't wait for the next chapter. Poor Hermione - the part about her crying and letting go into the pillow and trying not to worry as the occasional chuckle came out was funny and pitiful at the same time. And protectiveness over Snape?? DUN DUN DUN. I am eager to see where this little plot line takes us. *giggle* Everything’s really creative as usual; your innovativeness with the effects of salamanders in water and their speaking a form of parseltongue is well thought out and makes a lot of sense as well. | Yes! Another story to read and look forward to by my favorite fanfic author. :) Sorry I've been a little slow on the draw - work's been keeping me busy. Great first chapter however...I love where this story is going. I'd also like to point out how on-target your characters are, yet again. I especially noted Ron in this chapter; you even have it down to his little expressions. Its very believable and easy (not to mention fun) to read. On to chapter two!
