| Awww, but where's that adorable foul-mouthed jarvey? Like all good things, it must come to an end and I'm very sad to see it go. I enjoyed every chapter, but a new HBP story on the way, should be great! Almost makes up for leaving Turpin out of the epilogue! Cheers ~S.E. | Aw, how sweet! This was a wonderful story Pook, thanks for taking us along on the ride. You did a great job of wrapping it all up. . . even if there was no Turpin and no smut. (Persistent Pawing of Pleasantly Persnickety Petulant Potions Professors in the classroom not withstanding ;-) Please keep up the great work, there is a most definite niche for fun fluff ‘n smut, and you are among the best! Author's Response: You are the sweetest wolf in the world and your illiteration had me giggling! I know the epilogue was a bit short, but I just wanted to leave folks with an idea of how the war had changed them. I'm not much for smut in epilogues, actually. It usually seems so gratuitous. And while I'm all for gratuitous smut in a PWP, it seems awkward in a chaptered fic. Just one Pooks' opinion, of course! I've certainly read lovely fics that had smutty ends. Perhaps I simply haven't yet learned the trick of doing it gracefully! Thanks for reading and reviewing! Your comments have meant a lot to me! :) | |||

| Oops, almost forgot .... congratulations on finishing the story! Even though it doesn't feel finished without at least a mention of what Turpin is doing. And even though it seems a bit unfair that Crooks got a mention and Turpin didn't, despite Turpin having a bigger part in the story than Crooks. Not that I'm begging you to write a little more, or anything, 'cuz you know I'm not a beggar. Right.... Author's Response: Someday, maybe, if I have the time, despite the fact that this story is completely HBP incompatible, I may add a short chapter entitled "Turpin gets a girlfriend." *giggle* :) | |||

| *sniff* Where was Turpin? *sniff* you ended this most wonderful story without letting the jarvey have his say...*sigh* This was a most excellent story. It kept me emotionally involved throughout. The ending, while sweet and sappy, was just what was needed after the emotional rollercoaster of the preceeding chapters. The gentleness that you wrote of really does exist, even if not realistic for our couple (post HBP)...**my hubby and I are that way** Congratulations on a job well done. I will be watching for your new story(s). I love reading your work...Now, provide us some Smut Bunnies...*giggle* Author's Response: *giggle* I'm afraid the new story isn't very smut laden, but I'll try to think up a couple one shots when I have the time. I'm glad you enjoyed the end, I thought they deserved a bit of a break after all they'd been through. As for Turpin, he's back at Hogwarts playing with Crookshanks.
