I must say I have greatly enjoyed your story, especially this chapter. I read Naked Journey (I don't think I finished it though), and your writing has showed marked improvement. Crap, I wish I could remember the specifics about why I was slightly dissatisfied with that story, but I know for a fact I feel none of that over this one.
When Hermione said she wouldn't come out and tell him yet, I literally wanted to scream at her for even presuming to put it off any longer, and then hit Severus over the head myself to make him come to his senses.
Well, you have effectively put my under your spell of waiting with 'constant vigilance', and nail-biting anxiety, mind you, until you update another fabulous chapter. As soon as possible, please relieve me, and I know without a doubt, many others, from our torment.
Author's Response: How sweet! I am hoping to update the next chapter soon, so perhaps you will not have too long to wait. I know very well that my farce, Naked Journey has it's problems; but as it's the first story I've ever written in my life, I'm terribly proud of it! I do wish you remember what about it dissatisfied you, as I am still trying to get better at this whole writing thing. | I absolutely love your stories. Naked Journey was a pleasure, and I immediately started reading this one when I saw your pen name. I love how you treat both emotions and animals in your stories. I especially enjoy how you infuse the animals with intelligence, playfulness and emotion. Bob and Turpin are wonderful. I also enjoy the small touches in your stories, from the window seat ( a bookworm's necessity-if only we all were so lucky) to Turpin sticking his head under Snape's armpit (my cat does that). I just wanted to commend your work so far; in your stories you convey your own sense of magic, of play, of liveliness and heart. Author's Response: What an incredibly sweet review! Lol, I'm afraid I do toss bits of myself into my fics, I too had a cat who did that armpit trick and though I do not have that lovely windowseat, this bookworm has always wanted one!
