| Awesome. At least Ron isnt being a prat for no reason being jealous of Snape. I can just see Snape's face every time he has to pick her up to keep her calm. The confusion, frustration, irritation..priceless. And Poppy, her amusement at the circumstances is great. Now, what will Dumbledore think? Can't wait for the next chapter. | *starts crying* I want a Jarvey as a familiar! Cute, cuddly talkative little monsters they are! Actually I'm surprised this is the first time I saw Snape with a Jarvey familiar, it seems to fit with his personality so well. I wonder what it will take for Hermione to learn to control her empathy gift/curse... and who is Harry's boyfriend? Author's Response: I've never run into another fic that uses a Jarvey as his familiar, but when I read about them I couldn't help but think it was PERFECT! Glad you agree. | I'm completely addicted to this story, keep up the good work! I love the connections of emotions she keeps running into. Is it just touch that emphasizes them more, or is it simply proximity? | Wow! Another grrreaaat chapter. I love the dirction the story is going! I had it figured slightly off. Empathy wasn't what I was thinking before, although it should have been obvious. *hits forehead*. Anyhoo, I think I'm going to write a fic based on what I thought was happening to Hermione, if you don't mind. (Though it won't be like your story, you were just the inspiration.)

| [shakes head sadly ... Bob would be turning over in his grave ...] Let me try to think of something nice to say about this chapter. Umm... at least Turpin isn't a unicorn? If the Animal Protection people turned up, Turpin would turn them out with a hail of very eloquent and creative hexes? The Jarvey is happy being Snape's drinking buddy and keeps him from getting soft? Sigh... no wonder I was sorted Ravenclaw, I'm too curious for my own good -- I'd actually like you to write a scene where Turpin matches insults with Minerva, or Albus, or Peeves. But not with Hagrid; Turpin would make Hagrid cry. Hey, wait -- what happened to the salamander? Would Jarveys eat salamanders (after they insult them)? You're not going to let this empath-Hermione get near Lucius or Draco, are you? Groan... evil author... Author's Response: *sigh* You wound me most grieviously, Madame! I tell you, kill off one unicorn and suddenly everyone is threatening you with the SPCA. *glower* Now Turpin has an idyllic life. He gets to curl up in Severus Snape's lap and sing bawdy songs. I'd trade places with him in an instant! ;) | |||
