| I have a silly question. Have you ever read any of Tamora Pierce's work? I just ask because you use some words and phrases that she uses, especially in her Immortal series about Daine and Numair. You might share a local or something else, but some of your language is familiar to me. Just wondering, feel free to tell me I"m crazy. By the way, love the work as always. It sounds like Fantasy, a genre I'm fond of, but it is often difficult to sift through all the crap to find the good stuff. If you think her books are good, perhaps I'll give them a go. | Oh, this is delightful. It reminds me more of something out of one of Neil Gaiman's Sandman comics in tone and fancy. I also like the premise very much. Some gifts are quite horrid, really.
I'd like to hear more from Hermione's point of view and maybe a bit more internal stuff. I like the jarvey's coarseness, the gentle presence of Harry's gayness, and Dumbledore's twinkling presumption.
This is a nice relief from the many angst-filled stories around. Sometimes one just likes something with a plot, but with a lightness.

| Oh man...I loved this one! Pook, you've outdone yourself again! ^_^ You won't believe how much I laughed when I read the line about Turpin sneaking in to introduce himself. "Well, are you a pretty piece of skirt?" Oh my gosh, I was dying over here with that line! XD Girl, I am so glad that you've put Turpin into the mix--he will definitely add some spice to the situation. And Dumbledore being so calm while Severus was having an anger moment. I could just see him standing there with a calm and monotone voice, "Oh, I'm sure that it wouldn't be a problem..." just completely bland like a weather report! I love it! Oh, I could just go on forever with this chapter, so I'll stop here. Keep going! ^_^ Author's Response: Thank you so much, my Lady! | I am so pleased with this story, it's incredible. You're imagination is soething great! I love how Turpin just saunters over to Hermione, hitting on her like they were in a bar. Too funny!
