Well, I was laughing (rather loudly) after Dumbledore's backup spell "snarkypants".......and then giggled some more at dear Turpin (you MUST include him in EVERY chapter! :) You have a way of entwining laughter and hope with such sadness. I simply can't wait until the next update!!!! Oh, by the way; I have never seen a story get half as many reviews as you keep getting....quite deservedly so. Author's Response: I'm glad the amusing bits made you laugh! Turpin is fantastic for comic relief. I must say, that the point you raise is exactly the problem I have with "angst-ridden" fics. I don't mean your average serious fic, I mean ones that are just gloom and misery in every chapter. In my opinion, life just isn't like that, even in the bad times. Life is all mixed up with things that are funny, hopeful, and sad. So I do try to be true to that in my writing. Lol, granted, my stories are fairly light-hearted, but the idea is the same. I don't want my fics to be nothing but fluff. About the reviews, I'm quite beside myself! Not that I am complaining, mind you; I LOVE it! Perhaps it's because I beg prettily! Thanks for the kind review! :)

The building itself was a gothic horror, capable of inspiring nightmares even if one had no idea of the atrocities committed within." ... wow, that was outstanding. Well done. As a noobie writer, I'm always a bit worried about descriptive bits like that one. It's hard to walk that line between poetic and ridiculous tripe! Thank you, you rock! :)

Yay!!!!! This was a wonderful update. Every part moved fluidly and ended with suspense. Please update quickly. Also, just as a side note... A quiet beach house in Ocho Rios or Negril would be the perfect place for a madman to relax and regain his wits (accompanied by his bikini-clad ladyfriend). Ehem. Author's Response: ROFLMAO! gigglegiggle You simply won't be happy until I get those two on the beach! Can you imagine, our pale-skinned Snarkmaster on a Jamaican beach? It makes me giggle just thinking about it! I promise you I will do my best to get them down there for an epilogue or something. Lol, or maybe a companion piece smut-biscuit like "Naked Time!" Oh, dear!

Am I right to assume Severus is being cautious? I can´t quite bring myself to believe he´s lost it.

I know you promise there would be a happy ending, but I still can´t believe Severus did not prepare himself to deal with this situation...ending up in Azkaban, that is.

Oh, well...I don´t know if I made any sense, but no mattter. I still love your story and I´m still waiting for an update. Remember, the sooner, the better.

Author's Response: Oh course you made sense, and you raise a good point. But I'm not sure there is anything one can do to prepare themselves for Azkaban. I would imagine that a wandless wizard would be fairly helpless there if they were not an Animagus, which my Severus is not. I also doubt Severus had seriously considered the possibility that he would be there. I imagine he thought that if Voldemort found him out, he would simply be tortured and killed. But it's an interesting topic, at any rate. I'd like to know what other folks think on the matter. Thanks for the review! :)
