You packed a wallop this time. I was going to say you better not off the bloody wanker...but the way I figure it is you still have much story to go. Last time you snuffed out Bob *sniff*, so I just cannot believe you would do the same to poor Severus. After all, he is in need of a lot of love in his life and the lovin' ain't a-started yet!! I'm not gonna yell at you for the cliffie; after all, I love hanging from the precipice. Anticipation is part of the fun and, yes, I am having tons of fun reading this!! | This is a beautiful escalation of the emotional stakes between Severus and Hermione and of the external driving forces against them. That you've entwined Turpin so beautifully through the chapter is just lovely. Of all the familiars throughout the HP world and fandom, Turpin is my all-time favorite. He's utterly captivating. I also loved the 'Sense & Sensibility' reference... Edward's line dovetails very neatly into this circumstance. Nicely, nicely done. Author's Response: Lol, ten points to your house for catching the S & S rip off! It's not a direct quote, but it certainly is heavily influenced by it. I love that book, as well as the delightful movie they did of it recently. I'm so glad you are getting a kick out of Turpin. Quite frankly, when I read about jarveys, I was amazed that no one had given one to Snape before. It just seems so perfect to me! Thanks love! :) | |||
