| Huh. I knew I'd forget something. I liked the chapter's title :)
Your dear ;) Novinha (last time someone called me their dear was during an English Language Competition. I got to the Second level, Oral Part and politely greeted the jury "Good Morning" only to hear a "Hello, my dear" shot back at me. A strange but working intimidating tactic ;) (needless to say, I didn't pass the oral part. But I got far nevertheless, considering the fact that nearly all the others who took part were of "Eight English lessons a week, bilingual classes' sort, whereas I, with my humble four-hours-a-week-but-I-read-a-lot... Yes, it was due to fanfiction that I could take part at all ;) Greetings from Poland, Novinha (who was away on the competition and that's why it took her whole two days to review, terrible ;) Author's Response: Lol, I assure you that if I call you 'my dear', I mean nothing intimidating! | Ah! NO! evil cliff hanger!!! Please update ASAP! please do not leave us hanging like this! This is such a wonderful story! LOL...Plz update soon, i want to know if hermione will risk her new shields to go to Azkaban to get him out--and how she thinks she will be able to do that! plz plz plz update! | It's me (again) dearest Pooka. Thank you for the update. And greetings to the Famous Beta by the name of... Goblynn. It is nice to hear from her. But, back to the point. This chapter was nice. Abnd gripping. The Shrieking Shack explanation worked for me, you know ;) And this Sirius is quite nicely written. Dear Turpin is a sweetie as always. As to my previous review - my concerns weren't about the angst but pacing. There seemed to be a bit too much going on. But it was just my humble, after all. Greetings from Poland, Novinha Author's Response: Yes, there is a lot going on, I can't argue with that. Sometimes I think my characters have run away with me! | You've captured the terrible, grinding anxiety of waiting for bad news about one you love- and of wanting desperately to believe that it won't come. It seems almost perfunctory by now (after most of the reviews I've seen) to say that I love Turpin- but his jarvey-lashing of Sirius is exactly what I'd have loved to see the canon Sirius subjected to. That said, I like your Sirius a lot better than canonSirius- yours has the minimal decency required to feel regret for his despicable, entitled, bullying cruelty. And the cliffhanger/twist you've inserted is a truly wicked piece of backspin- completely unforeseen and unguessable. Well done. Author's Response: Wow! Thank you so much! Lol, I fear this review-slut of a writer will never tire of compliments about Turpin! It's hard for me to write an OC, even if he is a critter, and I'm thilled he's been so well recieved! I'm glad you liked his little tirade, 'jarvey-lashing'...*giggle* Canon Sirius is an odd mix of heart and temper, I've gone more with the heart than the temper, but that's the fun of fanfic! | What?! You dare to leave us hanging -right- there? And I stayed up extremely too late to read it as well... drat. Poor Turpin. At first his character confused me a bit, but he's grown on me since then, very much so, in fact. Although not very eventful in its own right, with this chapter you still manage to keep your claws of suspense tightly embedded in my psyche, unwilling to fully rest until you write out Severus' rescue and happily ever after with Hermione. They certainly deserve one after have such a long and achingly long 'friendship'. A good bit of smut as well, the poor things to be deprived for so long. I simply refuse to believe you would treat us readers, as well as Hermione and Severus, so cruelly for them -not- to get together in the end. You said yourself you write happy endings! Their unsatisfied sexual tension is so good, it's just this side of hurt. But please, when they get back together they better be going at it like rabbits on viagra or you will have one very angry... well not angry I suppose, but one sexually frustrated reader! Well, I hope this review was long enough to fulfill your 'review-slut' cravings, as I'm too tired at the moment to try and think of anything remarkably witty to say. G'night! Author's Response: You sweet thing! Your review was long and sweet and thoughtful and everything a review slut could ask for! Never fear, I write soppy happy endings and I promise to get some hot smut in for our deprived duo as soon as the plot allows. It isn't going to be smooth sailing, mind you, but hopefully the lemons will be good enough that you will forgive me the agonizing wait! You're right about this chapter being a bit of a bridge, and the next is a bit as well, but I hope it doesn't become to boggy. I'm glad you thought this chapter kept the suspense up instead of killing it. Thanks for the lovely review! It was terribly kind of you! :) | |||

| Ok you driving me nuts leaving me hanging like this but I am ager to see what direction you go with this nursing him back to health using her new power to ease his pain I can't wait for the next chapter
I love Turpin what fun you must have writing him.
