| Absolutely incredible.
Plaid! It's such a fantastic story, and I am so sorry I haven't found it up until now.
I'm currently sniffling and crying like a baby. It's such a good story! I'm desperately awaiting a new chapter, please ^_^ While this was happening, I've been covering my mouth with my hand chanting 'don't let him die...don't let him die'
Oh how I hope the wonderful and completely underrated Happy Ending™ will be implemented. Please! Stick with Lotm on this one :-)
I'd give the story a higher rating, but the blasted thing only goes up to 10!
Just out of curiosity, how many chapters are you thinking are left in this particular fic?

I know I've got a ways to go before I "grow up to be a real writer", but practise does help and, while I loved writing Naked Journey, I think it's obvious my writing is beginning to improve. Good gods, that was the most awkward sentence ever! Where's my beta? *snicker* Never fear, I haven't killed a Snape or a Hermione yet and I don't plan to! I have always planned a happy ending for this fic, and I've scattered little clues throughout, but if Lotm hadn't made me put that disclaimer in the AN, I think I would have gotten death threats! I'm a big fan of happy endings. There's enough crap in the world, I don't need to read it for entertainment, or write it for that matter. I'm a sarcastic romantic and I make no appologies! So, one happy ending comming right up! (as soon as I can manage to finish writing it!) As far as the length goes, I expect there will be one or two more chapters then perhaps an epilogue. Maybe one and an epilogue. We're quite close to the end, at any rate! Thanks for taking the time to leave me such a sweet review! It is still such a shock to me that folks enjoy reading something that I wrote! :) | |||

| My faith in you never wavered through this whole chapter (even if I did cry a bit). I know everything is going to turn out okay, and I'm really anxious to see how you do it. I've got some ideas of my own, but I'll just keep them to myself and wait till the next chapter to find out if I'm right. This was a very well-written chapter. I usually hate reading battle scenes, but yours was great - probably because you kept the focus on Severus and Hermione. And you really did a wonderful job of describing Hermione's grief. I'm sure there wasn't a 'dry eye in the house'. ~~Vickie Author's Response: I'm so happy to hear that you enjoyed how I did the whole battle thing. I'm no Tolkien, I had no interest in doing a complete blow-by-blow when it's reallt a story about Severus and Hermione; so I focused on them. I wasn't sure how folks would like that. There is a fairly logical explanation for how things turn out. There are clues in the story, but some of the bits were foreshadowed some time ago, so I hope it still makes sense to people. I would be very interested in hearing if the next chapter ends up anything like what you are thinking! Please let me know when we get there! Thanks for the sweet review! :) | |||

| I'm so behind... Interesting, gripping, intense. i liked the anticipation, Snape's sadness and how they were thinking about a baby... Yes, the specie first ;) Now I am truly wondering what you have in store for us... No doubts about a happy end, but what will happen before? | As much as I love your story, THIS CHAPTER MAKES ME WANNA SCREAM! No, honestly, I cried nonstop for five minutes, wishing I could hex you for this ending, but, with your words of hope at the end, I only hope you can fend off the mad throng of people who want a go at you (= amazing writing!! Author's Response: I know this chapter was a bit rough, it was rough to write as well. I'm hoping that my intrepid readers will decide the next chapter made the angst worth it. Lol, Lotm was worried I'd get irate, torch-wielding readers, so she suggested a bit of reassurance in the AN. However, nice Lotm wanted the AN at the beginning; naughty Pook put it at the end! | I was almost in tears at the end of this chapter. I hope everything will turn out all right in the end. You must have a hell of a twist planned if it does. I mean, Severus is dead, or is he? He didn't get hit full on by the Killing Curse. It grazded his shoulder. Maybe Hermione's love for him has protected him and merely made him going into a coma or something. I'm speculating. I'm looking forward to the next chapter. Author's Response: You aren't the first reader who has suggested it might be Hermione's love that protects him. If only we could keep folks safe by simply loving them enough. I'm afraid the explanation is not nearly that romantic. You'll have to let me know what you think of it after the next chapter! | Poor Hermione!
I notice that, in all the description of the healers and the aurors, etc. that you never once mentioned anyone noting Severus' presence or absence. Hmmm....

| waaaaaaaaa poor hermione ... poor snape. I have enjoyed this story immensely, this last chapter had me in tears ... I hope that everything isn't as black as it looks!

| Thank god! I think I'd go bonkers from the emotional build-up if he were dead... or maybe he is... i dunno, point being I almost started crying thinking that Turpin would be the only one to break into her cocoon of sorrow... Author's Response: Lotm simply refused to let me post without that AN. She thought it was too mean, and I know she is right. As little as I like to give story points away, I think it was necessary in this case. *He* is not dead, promise. All will be explained next chapter! Thanks for reading! :) | |||
