I do love the way rhis story is going and the very different twist. I just cant seem to sit on my hands long enough to get your next update. Well I hope that my hands dont turn blue until then. Until then .Bil
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! I've just written three pages of the next chapter; hopefully I'll finish it over the weekend. Fun and excitement to come soon! |

Asmund ... The Viking romance of Egil and Asmund? Sir Walter Scott’s story of Assueit and Asmund, where Asmund is voluntarily buried alive with his friend and has to drive a stake into Assueit’s dead body to keep him dead?
Author's Response: Ooh, good guesses. Very warm with the Vikings, cold with the romance. I like the idea of the Scott story (I've unfortunately not had the pleasure of reading it). |

Oh Wonderful Chapter! The tension, the struggle...this is so different from the usual fanfic fare and I LOVE IT!!!! Rather than gush on and on about how the writing pulls me in, how the descriptions and people seem so well done, I'll just leave it at that and look forward to the next chapter! :-)
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! I'm glad you liked this chapter; I rather thought it was slow yet necessary for the plot. But my readers are all that matter, really. |

Oh, amazing as always. "Before the Storm," eh? So many things can go wrong with their getaway, too many people are after them or know. Percy, Lucius, Seamus, Librum... who will cause the perfect storm? I'm on tenterhooks, waiting to see how this turns out!
Author's Response: Ah, who indeed. |

BTW, you don't mean "Asmund" as in the Asmund and Signy fairy tale from the Brown Fairy Book? They're the prince and princess who live in trees that Asmund made into dwellings, where they hide from the evil witch.
Author's Response: While that is a good guess, I was not kidding when I said the answer was really obscure. In fact, maybe too obsure. My writing instructor tells me that's my biggest problem. But I like being mysterious... |

Slope is from "The Barchester Chronicles". That one was really easy because Obadiah Slope writes on Occlumency and I had to look up the name. I seem to recall Asmund from a children's tale and something about ogres, but I don't recall the name or the details. So can I get half of a hero cookie? :-) Great chapter! I hope Georgina has the intelligence to break Percy's neck and say he broke it in the fall. ~Lisa
Author's Response: Yay! You win a hero cookie! Alan Rickman played Obadiah Slope in the BBC production of Anthony Trollope's Barchester novels (he was rather hilarious, actually, in a pathetic, pre-Snape sort of way). I'm glad you liked the chapter--I rather thought it was slow and annoying. Asmund is a good guess, but not what I was thinking.

Great addition to this fic! I hope that they make it out in one peice. Hopefully Severus is resourceful enough to make it work, goodness knows Hermione has done her share!
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! Severus should be pulling his weight very nicely and disturbingly in the next chapter.
