Ok, far too abrupt...perhaps I just waited too long and should have read it in its entirety (for the fourth time) before I read the ending. |

ACK!!!!!!! but.... but... if the Death Eater government was successfully overthrown, then Severus and Ginny and Percy survived? (Lucius can fry, natch.) Ack! Okay, don't tell me if it's sad -- let me be delusional. THANK YOU for this wonderful story and the incredible characters you created. Obviously, I fell in love with Vovo, I worried over Vasily, and I'm attached to Severus, and you kept me guessing every inch of the way with Ginny. Your storyline was creative and kept me on the edge of my seat. I would love to see anything else you write. Thank you again for sharing your creativity and imagination with us!
Author's Response: The government that was overthrown was that in Belgium, as per Ginny's intelligence and Hermione's whereabouts. I maybe should have been more specific. ;) Thanks so much for your lovely reviews, June; they've kept me feeling lovely! |

Whoa - that's it - it's over? I'm going to have to re-read this to get the full brunt again, since it seems so abrupt to me, unfortunately!
Author's Response: That was sort of what I was working towards; I don't like stories with a terribly long denouement, and this wasn't ever supposed to have a happy ending. How could it, really, given the circumstances? It was a creative choice I made, and I'm guessing not many people will agree with me, but we'll see how it goes! Thanks for the review. |

This is my second time through your story, and I do hope you will keep to your promise to finish it. If not, thanks so much for the rich plot and characters that you have blessed us with! Your Ginny is chilling, and I'm still not sure where Severus stands, other than on the side of self-preservation. |
