Ergh, never mind, I don't deserve a cookie if I can't spell! ;-D At least you can write ... that's all that matters to me!
Author's Response: Heh. I can only spell because French Immersion made me.

What an exciting chapter! Percy Weasley is such a prick! ;-D I hope he's not going to cause her anymore trouble. Let's see: Slope comes from Obidiah Slope, The Barchester Chronicles? I don't know Asmund (but I googled it, and I think I found the reference. But that would be cheating, yes?:-D Can I have half a hero cookie?). Great chapter. Looking forward to more, as always. Best, Sophie
Author's Response: Yay! You also get a hero cookie! Obadiah Slope is the correct answer. I read "Barchester Towers" in my English Novel class, and my prof let us watch what he called "a possibly bootlegged copy of the BBC production of the Barchester Chronicles." Alan Rickman rocked. As for the reference, try your hand anyway. You may be right.

Oh, oh, oh!!!!! Next chapter, please! Urg, I can't believe Percy recognized her. I need to know how she get's Severus to the ghetto for the picture! Please hurry! *grins* It really was a great chapter, even with the naugty ending there.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! I know, I never thought Percy would recognize her either, but he's not as oblivious as everyone thinks. Mmm, evil cliffie.

Uh-oh, what's Georgina going to tell Percy?? I just hope Librum doesn't betray them, and that Seamus stays alive. Re chapter title "Before the Storm" - should I be scared of your next chapter? Thanks for updating!
Author's Response: The next chapter will be exciting and dramatic and maybe a bit scary. But it won't hurt. It will be awesome. Don't worry.

I'm finally catching up on the last two chapters. Wonderful work!!! Absoutely wonderful! This is the kind of story I wish there was more of in fanfic. This is a very tense situation with Malfoy...and the way you've brought the Muggles into this...yes, if there were to be a huge Wizarding battle and Death Eater conspiracy, it only makes sense that some of htem would bring the Muggles into it too. Oh, wonderous job, I'm enjoying this! Keep up the wonderful work!
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! I also figured that if Voldemort took over the world, the Muggles would have an important and interesting part to play. Muggles will come into the story very soon, and it's very strange...

It's a brilliant story. It's so dark and powerful. I feel sorry for Hermione and Severus. I hope they will find a way to be happy. Keep up the good work. (and update as soon as you can)
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! I feel sorry for my characters too, but that doesn't mean I won't keep tormenting them. But there will be some good things happening (otherwise people would just stop reading out of anguish).

I just found this story and sat and read all five chapters at once. I really like your version of a DE ruled world and Hermione struggling to survive. What happened to the muggles? Do they live in ghettos too? I hope Hermione can find some way to escape and take Snape with her. Looking forward to reading your next chapter.
The only part that drew me out of your story was when you described Percy as needing glasses for his glaucoma. I admit this is a nitpick and I only noticed because I have glaucoma, but glasses are not used as a treatment, they simply won't do any good. In glaucoma your side vision starts to go and most people won't notice until it's very far advanced and you can only see what is directly in front of you in a tunnel vision. Eye drops and occaisionally laser surgery are the treatments used. It sounds more as if Percy has severe myopia or nearsitghtedness.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! Good catch with the glaucoma (although I don't have it, I know of someone who wears glasses to help her read). I suppose I'll change it to make more sense. It's not a nitpick if it's a mistake! As for the Muggles, we'll be seeing them pretty soon--and the situation is rather surreal.
