It's so different from all the others, simply brilliant! So realistic... It reminded me of my history lessons, just that it was a lot more interesting... :D I can't believe it... Too good to be true that something this wonderful exists. I'll definitely be reading it again, once I've forgotten all the details. Somehow I just knew Ginny was the Dark Lord's mistress. From the moment she called him Tom... I like it the way Percy switches sides. I can't believe how you managed to characterize Severus. It's brilliant! Hermione's perfect too... In short, my mind was sufficiently blown. When the ending came around I'm pretty sure I had a giant, flashing 'What the fuck?!' sign hovering over my head but now that I've had a little time to think about it I guess it was an appropriate place to stop. It was so easy to be wrapped up in the run, the escape, the constant verbal sparing between Hermione and Snape. You managed to capture the characters in essence was they were while making them your own. That and I'm a sucker for well written house elves and you nailed Vovo as a loveable character (thank you for not killing him off!). I'm a bit grumpy that the story has come to an end but... it seems like a story without an end. So why not now? And within the pacing of conflict and danger in each chapter it must've been a bit exhausting to keep up the quality of writing. Plus my inner spaztic dork is grateful in the very least that there was a smooch in the last chapter. Thank you for sharing the story, even though I admit I'm itching for some sort of epilogue. This has got to be one of my favorite SSHG fics ever, and I'm usually a sucker for happy endings, even though this one was not. I thought this fic would never be finished and was sort of content to think it would be forever left as it was, and I'm so glad you finally found the time to complete it. Your characterization, your dialogue, your plot, your everything - wonderful and touching and heartbreaking. You're an excellent writer, Meggory, and it's people like you that make me love reading and this fandom. Good luck with your future endeavors.
