I love these type of post-VoldWar fics. Please update soon!
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! More to follow as soon as humanly possible. And don't worry, life in Britain is going to get much, much worse.

Wow, this is a great start. You do a wonderful job of setting the scene. I like the matter-of-fact way that you describe Hermione's new life, particularly the marks on her arm. It somehow makes the whole situation feel tense without being melodramatic or angsty. The marks on the arm are also a nice parallel to the Dark Mark... Hermione's own brands due to the war and Voldemort. Definitely looking forward to more. Best, Sophie
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! I'm glad you liked the tattoo idea (to be honest, I wasn't even thinking of the Dark Mark, but I suppose I should have been). More to follow as soon as humanly possible.

This was awesome. What you descirbed could be London at the height of the bombings of WWII combined with either Berlin during the Cold War or nearly any city in Poland after the Germans took over. Great first chapter, and I can't wait to see where you go with this. More detailed chapters such as this, and I will bow at your feet!
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! I was thinking of both the Blitzkrieg of London by Germany and the firebombing of Dresden by the Allies when I wrote the scene. More to follow as soon as humanly possible.

Interesting. Very 1984 - (which is one of my favourite novels!). I'm looking forward to reading the rest

Scary start! She can't try to emigrate to the US or Canada? Snape is the 'Wraith'? I hope you update soon - this looks very interesting!
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! About the emigration, I was rather thinking of both the impossibility of acutally leaving Britain with all the Death Eater controls in place and the North American immigration policies concerning the targeted groups during WWII (both countries refused entry to Jews during that period). More to follow as soon as humanly possible.

Wow, what a great set up! I'm anxiously awaiting where this story might go in the future. So far it's a great postapocolypse scene with traces of Nazi *G*.
Good work!!! Hope to see more soon.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! With all the hints of fascism in the HP books, how could I go with anything else? :) More to follow as soon as humanly possible.
