Sorry to hear of statistics woes. I was an English major as well, and somehow manged to swing never having to take it! *glee* Something I kind of actually regret now, to be honest, now that I'm in grad school... Author's Response: Yeah, my stupid university has the strictest undergrad requirements in the country. Why on earth should I have to take a math class? | What a fun chapter -- after all of the tension in the previous ones. The detailed lesson on wand making was fascinating-- gee,I wonder if Hermione might ever have to make a wand in the future??? | I loved the bits you wrote about the unicorn, and the wand-making process - You will be the first person to imprint magic on the wand, and so it will only work for you. What a great idea! It also makes Vasya's wands better than Ollivander's, as he claimed, and as Hermione has now experienced. (Is Severus' wand made by Vasya?) I think it's wise for Severus to not trust Ginny immediately, and hope Hermione will trust his sense. I hope we find out what Lucius and Bella did to Severus - sounds horrible, but necessary to storyline. And where is Vovo?????? Author's Response: Hee, you really want to know about Vovo, huh? Don't worry, we'll find out later what happens to him. As for Severus' wand, I would think that his good friend would probably offer to make him one. | |||

| my goodness! you really thought of lots of unique dark twisted subplots for this. i like how you are always one step ahead (more like a billion, in my case) of all your readers and your chapters. (unless of course, you have the entire thing already written and done, bur i doubt that). loved this chapter, probably one of my favorite ones, and i have to say one of your strongest. you're giving yourself higher standards girl. now i'm going to expect more from you! just kidding. i just loved it. period. and i hope you crack out another one soon. -The Grim Author's Response: Heh. | Just caught up on the last three chapters. This is certainly one of the best fanfics out there currently. I love the way the plot is crafted, the characters seem so real, Hermione is believably the same person, with the added strain of living through such hellish conditions, and Snape is as mysterious as ever. I'm wondering what happened that the resistance would make such a proclamation that he is not to be contacted by their side? I like Vassily; he's a good addition to the story.
I'm looking forward to discovering the rest of the story. This is quite amazing, and I hope to see much, much more fanfiction from you in the future! Author's Response: Oh no, more fanfic? This is all I've got, honey! I suppose I'll have to think of something. Maybe a sequel. I'm a big fan of sequels, as long as they're not produced by Disney.
