| it's been so long! this story's formatting was a bit wonky, one giant block paragraph, but i've been waiting for a new chapter i decided i wasn't going to wait for it to be formatted correctly! anyway, i'm curious about the validity of that memory, or if it was fabricated or manipulated, hermione herself mused how this memory was unlike any other pensieve she'd been in before. how is hermione going to get out of this situation! ah. congrats on everything that's happened over the past year or so! please update with a new chapter soon (super soon)! |

poor severus. it wasn't as if he intentionally gave away the secrets. he is human and he succumbed to a very human reaction. hope hermione doesn't do anything rash; also hope that she comes out of this interaction with lucius relatively unharmed. although, how she will get out of it is beyond me at the moment. well, look forward to the next update...until next time! thank you for writing! |

| It was the perfect trap. It played on his compassion to save the witch, invaded him during a stolen moment of tenderness--he thought. It was diabolical. Clearly a mistake and he did not betray the Order willingly. Such an event could have happened to anyone captured and tortured. Severus's vulnerability was no one ever touched him with kindness or affection. He probably could have been tortured to death and not revealed a thing. However, seduced--ah that is another matter altogether. |
