this story was good, but after HBP, every SS/HG story reads like crap. serious crap. JKR hates Ashwinder.

Author's Response: I don't think she did it to spite us. But really, can't you suspend belief to continue reading? If not, well, I hope you enjoyed what you could.

This has been said before, but thank you for continuing this after HBP came out. I very much want to see where this story goes. I’m trying to wait patiently for the next chapter, but patience has never been my bets quality.

Author's Response: Thanks for keeping on the team! I'm trying my best to pound out the next chapter, but between real life kicking me in the gut and a touch of writer's block, it's tough going.

Best work I've read to date. I'd rather read more of what you've got to say than the work of almost any published author on my shelf. There really isn't much more I can say, as I'm just that impressed.

Author's Response: Wow. Now that's a compliment! I'm a firm believer in the sanctity of published text on paper, but then again, I'm old-fashioned. Heh.

I don't know naked Jell-O wrestling sounds like fun.

Author's Response: Heh, it could be. Depends what flavour, I suppose. I like red.

Very interesting. I am glad to have read this. As if you truly need me to say it, please continue writing this as I would be most delighted to ocntinue reading it.

Author's Response: I'm trying! RL is kicking my ass, though. I'm doing my best.

This installment gave me chills. Their conversation in the library, and then later at her bedside. The discovery of the tattoo. Lovely. Thanks.

Author's Response: Yeah, I rather think Severus is going off his rocker, but that's just me.

rawr this is by far the best story I've read for a very, very long time All the research you put in is deffinetly appreciated-it makes it so much better to read! In the next chapter, Snape and Hermione talk and then go find themselves a unicorn?

Author's Response: Something like that. Talk, talk, suspense, talk, etc.

Fantastic story. I feel completely caught up in it and hungry for more. As to the issue of HBP? I've always thought SS/HG was alternate universe anyway. But this story is gritty and wonderful. Reminds me of Margaret Atwood.

Author's Response: The whole SS/HG thing has always been alternate universe to me, too. It really, honestly, never happen (nevermind that they're fictional characters...) in canon. It's a fantasy, but it's fun. Fiction is fun. While I'm not personally a fan of Margaret Atwood (although The Handmaid's Tale was a cool idea), I'll definitely take the compliment!
