| I'm hoping that's Snape, but I have a feeling it's Malfoy. You really do like ending the chapters with cliff hangers, don't you? :-D Evil author! (That's a compliment, of course!) One question, though ... how would Snape have known that she'd get an improperly brewed batch of Veritaserum? His "sweet" warning seemed to be a little too convenient ... or am I missing something (which is quite possible)? Anyway, I can't wait to find out what's going to happen next! Best, Sophie Author's Response: Well, were I to be hauled away by Death Eaters, I could expect to be given Veritaserum. Now, as a former Death Eater, Severus would know this, right? Now, if I were super stressed out, like Hermione, I probably wouldn't even question the effects of whatever I was given--unless Someone (aka Severus) were to give me something to focus on. He couldn't possibly know if the batch she got was improperly brewed; but, as a Potions Master, he knows all too well the difficulty of brewing Veritaserum. No doubt anyone short of a Potions Master would have extreme difficulty brewing such a potion. So that's my long winded explanation for such a small hint. | agh! please update! dear lord, what is severus thinking????? come on, you gotta give us some more soon, or i'll go crazy waiting to find out just what severus is going to do to get her out of there...if he will at all. again, please update! it was so short. good chapter, but not enough to fully suppress our reviewer appetites! ;) -The Grim Author's Response: I know it was short.
