oh! update soon... Hmm... I am slightly sympathetic for Severus... and anxious to find out what Ginny is going to show Hermione.... Great job!
Author's Response: I'm sympathetic to Severus too, but then again, I know what actually happened (wink). |

Oh no!! Ginny, don't betray Hermione!!! I hope she doesn't. Now I'm really worried. You have me sucked into this story. Yikes! I hope you resolve some of this, my fingernails look atrocious!
Author's Response: Don't chew on your fingernails; it's undignified... |

Nicely done. The plot is clipping along nicely and it's such a WONDERFUL deviation from the won-the-war-of-course Hermione and Snape fic. As for the WoT, aren't you glad Book 11 comes out next month? I am...*does happy little dance*
Author's Response: *shares in happy dance* Hee! Very excited. So excited I managed to hook my boyfriend on them (He's on Book 8 right now). I've read a wicked non-spoiler review on Dragonmount.com, and I'm still drooling... |

Well jeeze. What does that girl expect?! I mean there was pools of blood, and "now-coagulating missing strips of flesh" on his back. She's thinking he easily gave this information away? Point of fact, we don't even know what information he gave. Something they thought would be useful to be sure, but that doesn't mean it was. Doesn't even that it had anything at all to do with the attack. After all, he couldn't have given the location of the headquarters, only the secret keeper could do that, and Hermione did say she wanted to see what had happened right before the orders headquarters were destroyed. I join the other reviewers in suspecting not so good things from Ginny. HG is quite foolish for wandering into the forest with her!
Author's Response: Ah, yes, but all of this logic comes in retrospect. Hermione isn't thinking clearly at this point; all she has seen is circumstantial evidence (but most of it seeming quite damning for Severus). Just recall that Voldemort said something about a last strike on the Order (so he has a plan), and Lucius and Bella acquired information from Severus. These two events are not coincidental.
Cheer up, more things to be explained on the way. I just wanted to give you all something to chew on for a while. |

Wow -- this story continues to delight. I think your vision of what it would be like to search for memories in someone else's mind was extremely convincing. I also liked the way Hermione followed Ginny - an echo of the way Umbridge followed Hermione. Can trouble lie ahead???
Author's Response: Of course trouble lies ahead! It's an adventure/drama/action story...there's always trouble ahead! If only the characters could realize that... |

OMG!!! I just can't believe what happened in Severus' mind! There HAS to be more than meets the eye! Polyjuice? Could Severus have thought he was with someone else? And what's going on with Ginny? Why is she taking Hermione further into the Forbidden Forest? I can't wait for more!!
Author's Response: Good questions, dear, good questions. Keep those all in mind. |

well, for a smart witch it wasn't very wise for hermione to wander off with ginny into the forbidden forest. i'm interested to see what ginny's reason for taking her there is. severus' mind, the scene him, sobbing. severus snape letting out a sob, now that just goes to show how guilty he felt/feels. very well done, as always!
Author's Response: Yes, Hermione isn't thinking straight, that's for sure. Bad, bad Hermione! |
