| I haven't followed your story from the beginning. I noticed it on the update section on the homepage and decided to give it a try. I immediatly fell in love with the story. The storyline is interesting and different, The characters are refreshing, yet somehow still seem to hold true to the real series. In short, this story is one of the best I've read, and I can't wait for you to update again. Please do at the soonest possible time, or I might just go insane from waiting. | Erm, I won't ask how you know about Jello-O wrestling match rules. Coincidentally, I am eating a bowl of red Jello-O. I think I'll put it down now.... Okay, I'm back. I knew he didn't leave her stranded, the stubborn girl! She better apologize in the morning, maybe show him his potions book that she has. I do want to know why Hannah said what she did about Severus; was it just his sparkling personality that offended folks? Umm, can elf-hair be used as a wand core? Owl feather? Just as an aside, my guy friends made us girl friends sign a contract to hold Jell-O wrestling matches provided they bring the inflatable pool and the Jell-O. | Thank you for continuing this story after HBP -- a number of writers have simply abandoned their HG/SS fics, and while I respect their decision, I am SO glad that you will continue writing. I LOVE this fic -- it's very canon and very suspenseful. I particularly like the Abbott warning, as it makes one wonder about Snape's motives. I also think that the characterization of Vasiliy is very successful; he feels just like someone who would turn up in one of Jo's book. Author's Response: I'm glad you liked Vasiliy; I personally always thought of him as a Dark wizard because he's from Eastern Europe, and then I actually thought about it--he's not necessarily a bad guy. In fact, I wanted to show that he is specifically not bad. So Severus actually has a friend who is "good." Sheer percentages should demand it, shouldn't they? Heh. | |||

| I read this part last night. Brilliant! Yours is one of the few fan fics I'm actually printing out and saving - hope you don't mind. I love Percy's entrance ... really brought about the idea of an SS officer. One reason why I like your fic so much is that I have studied the holocaust extensively, especially survivors accounts, and diaries that were kept ... and you have really touched upon that feeling on what it might have been like. I respect that a great deal. Again, keep it up. You have a faithful reader. ;o) Author's Response: Wow, that's such a great compliment! Even I don't have a hard copy of my story... It's locked safely in my iMac. As for Percy, I really wanted to make it clear that while he is Malfoy's personal assistant, he still is a Death Eater. He's not necessarily a nice person anymore (although he did manage to do something nice for Hermione). | |||

| Excellent! I am soooo pleased that you update regularly. Keep it up! Author's Response: Well, I try to keep my readers pleased. It's a good thing, to have happy readers. Happy readers make a happy writer, and a happy writer tries not to torture her character quite as much (or who tries to torture them more, I'm not sure which). | |||

| Damn.. and I was so sure. But now that you say that. It is logical that he wouldn't do something so mundane himself. I like this chapter the bestest so far. And the portkey was unexpected..
