| I love your story and check nearly daily for updates, it's definitely among my all time top 5 on this site. Beautyfully written and with both Snape and Hermione kept in character (which is not very often imo). Please keep up the excellent work!
Just one thing: I think the animagus transformation is not dependent on a person having their wands with them - Sirius Black survived his decade in Azkaban (more or less) sane because he spent so much time in his dogform which wasn't attractive to dementors according to Rowling. I find it highly unlikely that wizards incarcerated in Azkaban were allowed or able to keep their wands.... Pettigrew during his Scabbers time also hadn't a wand when he was changed back at the end of PoA, if I recall correctly. Although in your story one would've asked why Severus didn't change to his unicorn form early and simply trotted back to Hogwarts but that would've rendered Herniomes rescue unnecessary or unsuccessful, ne? So perhaps it was an intentional plot device? Author's Response: If you take into consideration that Severus does indeed believe he'll be stuck in animagus form, that explains why he didn't change from the get go. I admit that the need for a wand to change isn't quite cannon, but my little farce wouldn't go far without it, so I do hope you'll forgive me a touch of artistic liscense. ;) Author's Response: Lol, I'd also have to note that both Sirius and Peter end up a bit mad, so what does that tell us? | |||

| ok. a cliffie like that was totally mean! isn't it enough for you that we have to suffer waiting for a new chapter to come, bitting our nails off with anxiety? well maybe the bitting nails part is a bit hyperbolic, however the suffering is 100% the truth. I can't wait to read another chapie. everynight i'm like, "My Lord, thank you for today." when you update it's like "My Lord thank you for today.
