| When I found you here a couple of days ago, I thought I'd found this fic familiar. I finally remembered, I read this over at Playwitch.net before! *giggle* Was feeling disappointed I can't review there. I love your ending in particular, and the name Bob. Such an ordinary name for such an extradinary character. ;) Author's Response: How lovely! i was quite flattered when Playwitch wanted my story for their first issue. | How sweet!! It still tickles me to hear the snarky potions master name something "Bob". I truly loved this fic and how well it was written! However I am saddened by the fact that Bob died so soon. I expected him to play an even larger role. But....the show must go on. Or in our case "Fic". ; ) I also loved the strange understanding ron and severus seemed to reach. The chess idea was brilliant! keep up the good work. Author's Response: I miss Bob from time to time. But if Bob hadn't died, Severus may never have reached a place where he could jump into love with both feet. he needed to be strongly reminded that life and happiness are most precarious, and none of us may have as much time as we would wish. I liked my Ron in this fic; I think he's a highly underated character in Potterverse. I'm glad that you enjoyed him too! Thanks for the kind review! :) | |||

| Severus is a VIRGIN? Apparently an emotional one, if not a physical one! I love it that Albus has a clock like Molly's. | You are officially wonderful. And possibly to blame for lack of work done recently. Great writing I love it it just flows so well. | I laugh at the sheer brilliance of this fic. While every story is unique in its own right, I find that this is a refreshing break from the multitude of cliches that are rampant throughout Sev/Hermione pairings. (Although the black unicorn bit was slightly predictable, I think that it suits our dear Severus.) This story was a nice romance interspersed with welcome humor that made me, on more than one occasion, laugh out loud (much to my embarassment!). I read this fiction in one sitting, despite the fact that I began after 11 pm and have class at 8:30 the next (I guess it's THIS) morning.
Oh, and I love the simplicity of 'Bob'. It was rather amusing, as was Dumbledore's 'peeping Tom' clock, as I have dubbed it.
Great Job! I have yet to attempt a romance fic, for the simple reason that I have a hard time writing from an objective point of view. First person is more my forte! Thanks for this wonderful fic. Author's Response: Wow! What a lovely review! Lol, yes, only in a farce like this could I ever get away with making Snape a unicorn. The idea made me giggle so much, that I just couldn't resist it! I can't tell you how many times I've stayed up too late reading a fanfic on a work night, and it's a real kick in the head to hear that someone did the same reading something I wrote! thank you so much for reading, and for the kind review! :) | |||
