Reviews for Naked Journey

Is this another example of our flawed Albus??? I can just picture Snape affectionate with Ron... I wonder how much he will remember of his animal days? How romantic... her smell brings the man back to consciousness!!

Author's Response: I like an Albus with flaws, though I still think he's a pretty amazing man. Glad you liked the smell bit! :)

It sure is nice to see Ron portrayed as displaying some insight and depth.... not to mention the male bonding... "... remembering, for one fleeting moment, that joy had been his."... sniff... sniff... sniff... how bittersweet!

Author's Response: I must say that I get tired of reading an adult Ron who is written like a 13 year old boy! I'm glad you enjoyed my interpretation of him! Thanks! :)

I began reading NJ yesterday and I resumed and finished tonight (it's 2.30 AM here, but I wanted to finish the story ^^ ). The little "parade" kept popping in my head all day long while working(and the way Severus named Bob *snort*) I just love the critters in your stories...and the humor... and the origional ideas/plots... and the romance... and the lemons... and... well you get the point right? Kudos!!

Author's Response: What a sweet review! I'm thrilled that you enjoyed it, and thanks for taking the time to let me know! :)

Author's Response: How sweet! I adore you too! :)

Nice touch adding the wizard's perspective on minotaurs, as well as the original mythology. Great job with the battle against the minotaur! A very moving moment with Albus... I really loved the idea that Hermione's wand could sense the type of magic and respond accordingly. I also loved Severus's reasoning in his decision to get help and that he remembered to cover her with the invisibility clock. It figures!!!! A midnight black unicorn... I should have guessed!!!

Author's Response: *giggle* I suppose a black unicorn is a bit corny, but if not in a farce like this, then where? I was worried about that battle scene when I wrote it. I think fighting is harder to write than naughty bits! I'm glad you didn't think it went amiss. I adore Albus, as I'm sure you can tell from this story. Perhaps he isn't all-knowing, perhaps he makes mistakes like the rest of us, but I still think he's a wonderful fellow. Thanks for the review! :)

Again another wonderful chapter, tender moments, silly grins, possessive growls... Nice touch adding the confirmation that it would not be possible to Accio Snape's wand! "... Woman, must you ogle me?" Another touch of realism... Of course, I adore the section with Albus... and Minerva and her all too true statement, “They are either perfect for one another or they’re going to kill each other.” Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if Albus didn't have some kind of a hybrid of Molly's clock as he is so in tune with those he cares about. Oh no... a minotaur!

Author's Response: Glad you enjoyed it! I had to give those two a bit of rest before i threw more trouble at them. ;) I think Minerva was speaking with my voice when she said that line; it is much what I think of this pairing. Thanks for yet another lovely review! :)

I noticed that in my review of Chapter 7 I misspelled sad…(said!!!) in my only comment about our poor Bob. I must say I was surprised at the outcome and very sad; however, it certainly provided the opportunity for some very tender, intimate, moments and a glimpse into the soul of Severus. Regarding Albus or the Aurors discovering our Potions Master, I must say I totally agree that your way makes a must more satisfying story. I am really enjoying the interactions between the two and the dual POV’s provided. Especially the first night and the next morning. I wrote some of my thoughts as I read… As I began to read, I started to go numb with disbelief… My heart sinking into my stomach… how could he??? A ray of hope, that it didn’t work with her wand… “… the look she threw his retreating back. It was a glare of confusion mixed with undeniable fury.” As I thought about it, obliviating her does seem in character with Snape, a twisted type of noble gesture, originating with his discomfort when dealing with emotions, especially when there is no Voldemort, conveniently making it impossible (for the good of the entire wizarding world) for Severus to indulge in passion and happiness. When reading the description of Severus’s demeanour, my heart went out to him. I was touched by his self-realization of his cowardice and the selfishness of him stealing one of Hermione’s precious memories bringing home the realization of how sweet it had been and how precious Hermione is to him. Having Hermione anticipating the need for and teaching herself how to resist being Obliviated was perfect as a practical proof for Severus of her acceptance of him. I laughed and laughed at both the thought of Hermione feeling resigned to the fact that Snape would certainly critique her style and not hesitate to inform her of any mistakes, and of Severus trying to control himself while giving himself to Hermoine’s slow, sweet torture, by reciting all of the potions ingredients in his supply cabinet. By the way, you are very good at these “naughty bits”… Thanks again.

Author's Response: Wow! Another absolutely lovely review! You are so incredibly sweet to take the time to do so! I'm glad you enjoyed this chapter, I think it's my favorite of the whole fic. I'm also glad you don't feel that my naughty bits have gone awry. I've always rather hoped that what I lacked in experience in writing about such a subject, I made up for at least a bit in my enthusiasm for the subject itself. ;) Thank you so much! :)

WOW!! That was everything one could hope for! Sexy, full of desire and passion, loving, erotic and a trace of realism regarding Hermione's virginity... Thanks again!

Author's Response: That was my very first foray into naughty bits, and I was scared to death of it! I'm thrilled you didn't think it went awry! Thanks! :)
