| Ahhh... *sits back with a sigh of satisfaction* I wanted her to smack 'Ronnikins' in the first chapter. Thanks for fulfilling that fantasy for me. It also looks like Harry has at least the beginnings of a clue. Maybe he's salvagable as someone with a brain....but I won't hold my breath. :) Author's Response: Lol! I always rather thought that Harry would have less trouble with who Hermione dates than Ron would. Harry's never wanted to date Hermione, after all. Thanks! :) | |||

| So I read this in entirety last week. However, I had to wait to review as I wanted to give myself time to get over Bob's death. Yes, I am serious. Hahaha! I am a huge animal lover (my current pets a cat and ferret) and I couldn't help but be a bit shocked and dismayed to read about Bob's death. Even in later chapters I found myself thinking 'surely Bob is not really dead.' It is a testament to how well you write that you can make a character (even a unicorn) so engaging that his death elicits such a deep response. And even while I am sad about Bob's death, I can see how it came about and why you did it. I loved this story! Snape and Hermione were engaging and Albus with his clock was just how I picture him. Now I am off to read more of your lovely stories. :-) Author's Response: I'll tell you a secret, I can't read that last chapter without chocking up a bit myself, and I wrote it! I didn't like killing off Bob, but I think that Severus needed to go through that to give Hermione a chance. I'm an animal lover too! We have 3 cats and two ferrets! What a hoot! I'm so glad that you enjoyed my story, and thank you so much for taking the time to tell me about it! :) | |||

| I understand the ending is supposed to have somber significance, though your choice of the name "Bob" for the unicorn left the end to have a bit of a whimsy attitude.
Nice. I like it, along with the rest of your story. Author's Response: Thanks! As you can tell from the overall tone of this piece, I never wanted it to get too gloomy. Choosing "Bob" helped that, I think. :) | |||
