| i thought harry and ron knew too??? “I’ll need some convincing. Severus is gone for I don’t know how long. This awful Healer came to examine me this afternoon. I had to take all my clothes off for him so he could document any bruises and then he produced this awful metal thing. Believe me you don’t want to know where he stuck it. Then he asked me embarrassing questions and told me that I’ve been ‘unlucky’ enough to conceive my husband’s child.”
“You’re pregnant?” exclaimed Harry.
“Not quite. Our cells have joined but it’s too soon to tell if they will stay in my womb and grow or not. Healer Binns said that if I hang on to it for another two weeks it can count as a pregnancy.”
“The potion didn’t work then?” said Ron.
“The Healer said that it isn’t always reliable during a binding. I suppose strong magic interferes with it.”
The night before Severus’ hearing Hermione hardly managed any sleep. Over all she felt she had handled his duties fairly well. Albus and Minerva had been complimentary but she looked forward to handing the reins back for a while. Madam Pomfrey had confirmed her pregnancy that afternoon and she longed to be in her husband’s arms once again. So far only Poppy and Minerva knew of her condition, as Hermione wanted Severus to know before it became common knowledge. |

| after what ron did why would they trust him with anything and information??? “No we are trying to gather as much information about Lucius as we can, or rather Severus was, so Lucius can be properly questioned under Veritaserum. He was investigating other things too.”
“What things?” asked Ron.
“I think we can trust them with this information,” said Dumbledore. “Please bear in mind that any indiscretion in this matter may result in serious consequences.”

“I am afraid that is not possible Madam. I assure you I am a expert in these matters.”
Dumbledore interjected, “As Professor Snape is a relatively young woman she may feel happier if your examination is carried out in the presence of our own medi-witch Madam Pomfrey. Would that be better for you Hermione?”
“Please Headmaster, couldn’t Madam Pomfrey do the examination herself?” She lowered her voice, “Severus is the only man to see me or touch me and I don’t think he’ll be pleased about this.”
“Madam I am a complete professional. Your husband’s likes and dislikes carry no weight with me. However if it means I can get this business over with quickly I am prepared to be observed.”
“Harry please go and find Madam Pomfrey and ask her to join us in the lab,” said Dumbledore. “Hermione perhaps you would like a moment or two to prepare yourself? Go on through. Madam Pomfrey and Healer Binns will join you in a few moments.”
totally unfair and an ethical if they are looking to examin hermione a woman for abuse etc then a female doctor has to be used to do it but NOT a male one !!!!

I knew your father well, however this marriage is not one I knew of. Claudius lived in France in seclusion I thought. He was murdered but the killer was never caught. You have a half brother Lucius who is a year or so older than I am. You had a half sister Olivia who was my first wife. She too was murdered. It appears you were named for her.”
