| I've been lurking on this story (obviously, since this is my first review!), but enjoying it more and more. Of course it's Alternative Universe as of Half-Blood Prince, but since I mostly write AU stuff myself, that's hardly a criticism. I just wanted to review this chapter because I'm so impressed with Hermione's statement to the Wizengamot that if her marriage were dissolved she would be "...proud to be his whore..." That's my girl! Go, Hermione! Your handling of this subject does not suffer from over-the-top histrionics, with Hermione being terrorized and raped in every other chapter. The villains are nasty, but not super-human, and the Ministry is venal, but not impervious to scandal and public opinion, and I like that. Much more like real life. Good job. | |||

| I enjoyed this story and looking forward to the sequel. Though I admit I was surprised at the abruptness of their love for one another though, I can understand a bit of it since they have been around each other for years and the last year had been spent around each other in closer quarters than whta is normal for them. | I have read the entire story and it's sequel, and I just have to sy that I love the last bit of this chapter the most! I love the entire story, but I think my favorite line is when Hermione says, "We're not sorry. We like being married." Thank you for a wonderful story | |||
