| There are a few things that bother me (and I'm not even starting on the whole 'Why should Voldie be so stupid as to torture his followers?'-question). You should have made clearer what you meant by 'impotent' from the start. At first I thought you meant he couldn't have sexual intercourse at all, but then Hermione started fantasising about sex with him without sparing any thought to his physical incapability, so I figured you must mean that he merely can't sire children. Now, it's sounding as if he's completely asuexal (just because he - as I assume - can't get an erection does not mean he can't have sexual feelings, does it?).
Also, why is Madame Pomfrey bossing Hermione around all the time? I noticed this already when she determined when Severus' first physical examination was supposed to take place and that she would inform him of the date. Since this is Hermione's project, it would in my opinion have been her task to make these arrangements. And now Poppy demands new equasions to be handed to her at a set date as if she were the boss, then off-handedly starts talking about Severus' unprofessional handling of the physical examinations, and eventually returns to the previous topic as if they were somehow linked... -I was confused when I read that.
And while I'm nagging ;), if Albus already tells the elves to prepare supper, why don't they just deliver the food to Severus' quarters? Wouldn't that be simpler than sending Hermione to fetch the food? |

| I'm a little astounded at the scope of Hermione's project. Wouldn't that be more suited for her final exam, her master thesis or something? Sounds extremely advanced for someone at a pre-apprenticeship stage... What do the apprentices and the masters do, then? |

| Holy friggen sonofa-! I just about lost it upon realizing where you chose to end your tale. First instinct aside, I absolutely applaud you for keeping Severus and Hermione in what felt very true to their characters; I don't find that often. And frankly, ending a story in a way that produces the reader to rant, groan, scream, die, mentally threaten, or otherwise long for more is a darn good thing, because it means you got people thinking and using their imaginations, and that they'll probably reread this in the very near future. Bravo, luv. I really enjoyed this one. |
