| This is an excellent fic built on excellent characterizations and a solid plot. While I have read many excellent stories where Hermione apprentices to Snape, I could never believe that such an arrangement would really work for her, given what we know about her interests and talents. You have found a seamless way to fit them together, and for that I thank you and anxiously await the next chapter. =) |

| At least Hermione was able to perform admirably in her panic at finding Snape near death. I hope she can adequately express her desire for his recovery without it centering solely on her project and without revealing her deeper feelings (which he wouldn't believe true anyway). |

| I think you're striving a little too hard to make Hermione non-beautiful and non-Mary Sue! But I appreciate that like the rest of us, she's victim to a zit or too. And for once, no chocolate eyes and burnished hair! Like your Severus for the same reasons: he's very like an even less attractive, softer version of Rowling's, and not the emo boy of most of the other fics! An extension, maybe, of a less emotional canon Marauder's era Snape. Beautifully played. In short, loving your fic.
