| Congratulations - I've actually CLAPPED my HANDS over my MOUTH when I read what Ginny dared to say aloud.
I have never, ever, ever had such a visceral response to reading a fanfic (sniffles and the occasional cry doesn't really count, lol) so I laud you, author for evoking such a response!
Now I move onto the next chapter...with much excitation. |

| I have read this story twice in the last two weeks, and this chapter about seven times. Ginny's outburst caused me pain, physical pain. I guess it is the normal reaction of "how would I have reacted?" Egads! How could one handle that situation? There will be shock and ridicule and I think I would hide for a long, long while. I can't imagine how long it will take to resolve this.
And I thought Hermione's monologue was pure artistry. Just beautiful. |

I've been following your story and finally HAD to review.
I don't typically cry when I read novels, and usually dislike the type of writing that tries to manipulate such a response (Jodi Picoult, you annoy me).
But there are exceptions -- the last 50 pages of The TIme Traveler's Wife, or Chapter 32 of Deathly Hollows, for instance.
This chapter made my cry just as hard, and I loved every minute!
Great work, can't wait for the next update.
Author's Response: I read the last 50 pages of The Time-Traveler's Wife in the middle of my university cafeteria, and everyone was sniggering at me while I sniffed and cried my way through it. I'm so glad I wasn't the only one! :-P |

| Oh how heartbreaking! I was wondering what the next big challenge would be in this story and BAM there it is. I'm surprised that she invoked the life-debt... though I'm not sure how else she could have caught Severus' attention. I am on pins and needles waiting to find out how this resolves itself! Ginny ought to be ashamed of herself.. she was being incredibly selfish. |
