| I love what you're doing with Hermione in this story. Watching her evolution along with Snape's daily struggle to live with dignity has been a bittersweet pleasure. My only complaint is about wanting more to read - faster! Well done. |

| This is a really excellent chapter - I think that you did a really great job in capturing a lot of the subtle emotions going on in this rather introspective chapter. Beautifully written.

| In my first review of this story (I think it was the first:-) I ranted and raved on how annoyed I was over Severus need for humiliate and hurt Hermione, and my irritation over that this was just another one of the stories where the author needed to "destroy" Hermione, taking away her brilliance and compassion and having to "dumbing" her to make a story work. I couldn't let the story go though, I had to see just where you intended to take it. Now it is my time to eat my harsh words you once received, humbly bend my head and tell you that you are writing one truly brilliant story!!! Hermiones briliance may be a part of it, but the most important part is her compassion, her sense of rigthfullness, and her loyalty. It is the sum of her qualities that makes Severus trust her enough to go along with this project, and that is the biggest compliment she could ever received. The man has more courrage than the whole Gryffindor house combined, and you write his story with brilliance. I look forward to read more!!! |
