| Love it! I especially loved Hermione's effort to construct an understanding of herself and an existence distinct from Snape. A wonderful accomplishment for her to undertake--and I think achieve--before receiving her flowers. Beautiful! |

| That was a powerful chapter. I'm a bit surprised at Severus - doesn't he realise what a great compliment Hermione's devotion is? As for Ginny - if I'd been in Hermione's shoes, I think I'd have hit her over the head. |

| I stayed up until 3 a.m. just to finish this story. Sadly I found out that is wasn't finished, so I'll have to patiently wait for new updates - hopefully there will be some! I think your portrayal of Hermione and Snape are highly realistic. I'm amazed at how to delve into Snape's story to explain the physical and psychological consequences his past endeavors has had on him. Loving will not come easily to him, and I think that you capture this idea beautifully.

| It's true that women do confide everything to their best friends, so Hermione's revelations to Ginny about Severus's impotence have the ring of truth. But somehow I don't he'd understand that at all,
and I'm surprised that Hermione didn't at least think about it first. |
