Reviews for Being Hermione Granger

Wow. That was an abrupt ending, but I must admit, it does leave one with a sense of breathless ...hmm... satisfaction. After recovering from the shock, 'hey, there's no ch 30?' it settles into a happy and comfortable perfection. Good job!

Ughhh. Why must you torture me with that ending??? Please add an epilogue or something of the sort. I sincerely hope that this isn't the end of their story.

This is actually the first story (and I swear, I've read a lot of them) which made me cry. Here I am, at midnight, crying. And I'm not usually that pathetic, really. It was just perfect. I wish there would be more authors talented as you are.

I would have left a review at every chapter if I could, but I was far too engrossed with your story to do so. Marvelous work, this is. Thank you.

The mortification I felt at Ginny’s outburst is…. Arrrgh! There are no words to describe it. Oh shite!

This is, without a doubt, one of the best SS/HG stories I've ever read. Your characterizations of Hermione, Snape, and Ginny are all spot on, and you avoided the too-easy path of making McGonagall into a mentor to Hermione (which, in my mind, eases far too many obstacles in most stories). Added to that, your dialogue was lovely, your scene descriptions were vivid, you didn't make Hermione too mature, nor too unchanged from the war, and you put together - most important to me - a *believable and plausible* explanation for what could have happened. I read through this story from start to finish in a couple of days, and your caliber of writing was very high throughout, with extraordinarily few grammatical errors. This is one of the few times in my memories where I got so wrapped up in what was going on that I had to take a break so I could compose myself before continuing: while reading the confrontation scene in the Three Broomsticks I literally cried out "oh, no, Ginny, how could you?!?" jumped out of my chair, and started pounding my feet into the floor. Not my typical reading experience, lol. Kudos on a job very, very well done!

You have written one of the best depictions of Hermione Granger that I have read to date. So many author's fail to grasp the internal dialog and thought process that I always thought was beneath her surface.
