I just wanted to say that so far I am really loving your story. All of your characters presented have been pretty spot on, and I love how you portray Snape as continuing to be suspicious and pessimistic! Anyway, this chapter struck a chord as Draco discussed Hermione's plans and actions for eradicating Hogwarts' houses as I've had a very similar parallel IRL. My husband and I both met at University, which was also a military school. In some ways it was like Hogwarts with regards to "house" division and bitter rivalries and "house" initiation rites. In fact, by the time we were seniors and getting ready to leave, my husband did pretty much what Hermione did and argued to the heads for the abolishment of traditional "houses" for first years, in an effort to reduce hazing incidents and classmates severely divided against each other. As it turns out, they adopted part of his plan once we graduated and turned the first years into their own separate "house", and then the following year "sorted" that class into the traditional "houses" as upperclassmen. This chapter strongly reminded me of that, so props to you for seeing something in your story that is actually pretty realistic. |

You know, I've read this several times and I don't think I've ever told you that this is probably my favorite fic told from Snape's POV. Now you know. :) |

Sigh. I loved this. And it was very fitting to not have an epilogue. |

I am very disappointed that this story has ended it is so well written and I was so startled to see no 'next' icon waiting with another chapter, it has so much potential I hope that you add to it or give it to someone else to make a sequel, because i cannot be the only one who feels as if this beautifully written story has ended so abruptly, and I confess i feel a little dismayed, which has never happened to me before and i have read hundreds of hg/ss stories
