Lovely ending. I enjoyed this very much.

Good job.

I'm loving this story, especially the way you present what Snape is thinking and feeling. Of course he would consider himself completely justified in his opinions, until something occurred to make him think again. Very well done.

My question about Hermione's wish to make the Houses random is: if they're all going to be lodged in the towers, and she doesn't want them to have characteristics ascribed to them based on their name, why not simply name them after the compass point their tower most closely points to? North Tower, West Tower, East Tower, South Tower? Just a thought, and I suppose the outcome of the story will hold surprises that may answer my question.

Again, very much enjoying this story.

I've always assumed they have some way of preventing the families of Muggleborns from talking about the wizarding world, but if they don't then yes, the potential security risk would ex0plain a lot of the prejudice. And yes, the house-elves are effectively married to their human families: they should be able to get a divorce if the relationship has turned sour, but being paid for their services would feel to them like paying a wife for sex - it cheapens and insults them. I wonder if they would accept it as pocket money rather than pay?

Oh, the line "Crooks, go to Kreacher" is absolutely brilliant! Can't stop giggling, really, every time it comes to my mind. I like your writing very much. Definitely you are one of the best authors I've read here.

You write such wonderful characters, Draco was just perfect. I loved reading about how he and Harry interact, the normality (to them) between them and his understanding of what Hermione is doing. Each chapter just pulls me in more and more, I never want this to end!

I find this story absolutely riveting, it's such a fascinating view into Severus Snape. It's perhaps the best story I've read for seeing him as a person, just a person the same as everyone else, no matter what his life has been like or what he's done with it, he is at the end of the day just another being trying to make his way through life. It's just a phenomenal read, thank you!

I love your endings. This and "Second Life" had the same kind of hopeful ending-but-really-a-beginning feel to them. And I loved the first-time sex scene; it was sweet and sexy and realistic. Kudos x 10!
