| i'm really enjoying this! such an interesting scenario. usually i like mean!severus but i think after the war he would have softened a bit so this doesn't feel ooc to me. anyways, really loving it! and loving all of the constant updates! i hate waiting for new chapters! :) :) :) Author's Response: I'm glad he isn't feeling ooc to you--I definitely like him mean, too. | I'm here a bit late on a recommendation, but I'm very glad I did! Better late than never! I love the way you are introducing Hermione through Snape's hearsay knowledge of her - she already feels like some mysterious philanthropist who I am dying to meet. I think this is a wonderful idea for a post DH fic, very plausible and full of great possibilities (especially where shared bathrooms are concerned). I really love your writing, I feel as if I have been transported into their world when I read. I can see I'm going to be hooked by this and will have to try and ration myself to a chapter a day. | what a wonderful chapter..I love that Severus' thoughs are just as snarky as what comes out of his mouth. That he is somewhat confused on how to deal with his witch is so adorable, and that he is somewhat a typical male that looks forward to some "snogging and such" makes him almost human lol. | I am enjoying watching Severus slowly learn to navigate his way through relationships of all kinds.
I especially like his dawning respect for Neville, and of course, his growing attraction to Hermione. And I've always been partial to the idea of a (nearly) virginal Severus, rather than the arch-seducer. Author's Response: You know, it took me some years to warm to a virginal Snape, even though I never thought of him as the Slytherin sex God or anything like that. But logically now, I feel like I can't refute it, and I've come to find I like the idea. I'm glad it's working for you here!! | |||

| Great chapter! This story just feels right - if you know what I mean. The exploration of how to abolish the house system by the characters was so genuine. I can see Hermione being focused and passionate about the big picture of reform, and Severus painting it with more realistic brush strokes .Such a satisfying read.
