This is one of the most beautifully written stories I have read in a long time!
Your research is very well planned out, your style is excellent, and that love scene in the last chapter was pretty hot :D You've portrayed Snape, particular, fantastically. I can't wait for more updates!
Author's Response: Thank you so much! That's a really lovely thing to say, and I'm so glad you're enjoying the story. In particular, I'm grateful that my portrayal of Snape works for you. He's always the one I'm working hardest to pin down. |

I don't know why, but I was hoping they'd both be virgins. Excellent chapter...everything was perfect.
Author's Response: I'm really it turned out the way you'd hoped. Thank you very much!! |

You have the most amazing gift for imagery! Your description of Severus in a Right Royal Sulking Snit, with all of the irrational pettiness necessary for a True Snit, was priceless. And then, everything that followed. Two wonderful lines: "Beneath all she had put on to show the world, the woman he knew still waited" and "his skin had peeled away until he was nothing but the raw pleasure of being inside her." So much more intimate and satisfying and real than the standard language for a "hawt" scene. Thinking back to the last chapter, maybe their true gifts to each other weren't the chocolates and earplugs, but the acceptance of vulnerability, which led them to this place. I would rate this a "20" if I could.
Author's Response: Oh, thank you very much, Aurora Borealis. That's a lovely reading of the story, and I'm very grateful for it. Also, I'm terribly pleased that you enjoyed the snit. I'm afraid that the Snape in my head is rather prone to them. :) |

Well done. Poignant and real. I love scenes that depict more real life episodes than the romantic genre stories with unrealistic romantic scenes. Still need to see where Severus goes from here. He can't keep working in the library and garden. Maybe he will help her with her project.
Author's Response: Yes, there's still a bit farther to go before he finds some purpose. Thank you--I'm really glad that you liked it. |

Very good I Kinda always wondered if he was a virgin
Author's Response: When I first entered fandom, the idea of Snape as a virgin horrified me. Now it's become a part of my personal canon. :) |

Lovely! I liked your description of their lovemaking as an emotional event rather than a "mechanical" event- "Tab A to Tab B, 1.4 T of moisture, pump pump pump..."
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm very glad the emotional side of it came through! |
