| I love the detail of Severus' thoughts. His agony over what color he should choose for his walls was wonderfully written. You can just sense his frustration and off balance in this new world he has entered. He keeps falling back to Hogwarts as his refuse and hope of returning to something he knows but I just have a feeling that he is building up for a huge letdown. The world has changed and he is just not getting it yet. I can't wait to read more. | I'm so glad I discovered this story, albeit a little late. I like your Severus - not exactly friendly yet, but maybe mellowing just a little. And the story of Draco and Harry fighting was very amusing - quite a grown-up thing for them to do, actually. Author's Response: I'm glad you found it too! | Wow. I have to say, as much as I adored "Second Life" the writing is this story is much richer and more amazing then I remember, perhaps I will have to go reread it again! This chapter was really quite perfect. The evolving relationships between all the characters, the way you leave out unimportant background points in favor of truly deep and lovely prose--wonderful. I also the his hesitancy and confusion, the fact that she is taking the lead, and that his insecurity is there, but not to the extent that it is crippling. I really just want this story to go on and on. Every chapter is fully of such beautiful details and such banal yet touching moments, I am in awe. I hope this story continues for a while, at which point I will eagerly anticipate your next work (fingers crossed). Really lovely. Author's Response: Thank you very much, Annabelle! It's interesting what you said about Second Life... It's hard for me to be objective about my own writing. I'm certainly a different writer than I was when I began that story.
