| Severus awkwardness at kissing (even the parts where he doesn't realize he's being awkward) are insanely in character for him. I love it. :) |

| I can honestly say I hadn't expected the kiss. At least not yet.
As for the house and Hogwarts and all those ideas, it never dawned on me that maybe the Hat was biased. The houses most certainly, but I didn't think about the Hat. I know Slytherin's aren't evil, their traits are cunning and ambitious and those are good traits, but it never dawned on me that maybe the Hat was putting them in a bad light. I remember reading a wonderful meta about how Salazar had built the Chamber of Secrets as a panic room to hide the students while the basilisk defended the school against invaders, and how his fear of Muggleborns was founded on the time period and how wizards and witches were being hunted down by Muggles at that time. And how over the years the tale got twisted until people started to think he hated them out of prejudice and the creature he put in it was designed to kill them out of bigoted hatred. I think it fits in well with this story |

| A wonderfully inspiring and heartfelt story.
I very much commend your writing skills, the way you presented Snape and Granger is very much realistic and in-character.
Also, I most especially appreciate the inward monologue of Snape😁
Although I could've wished more from this story, i suppose i gathered the entire prospect of Snape's decision.
Still, I'd like to thank you for sharing this to us. |

| This is such a lovely story! Someone recommended it in a Facebook group, and I'm so glad she did! It's sweet and slow and full of redemption and life, but most of all us human. From the uncertainty to the realistic progression of their romance and intimacy, this story is so real. I love the little details and how efficient your writing is. Nothing seems gratuitous or out of place, and the characters are so alive. Thank you for sharing your rich internal world with us.

| This story was so exceptional... I expected it to be another romance with usual potions cooperation of HG/SS or something like that, but all the ideas... so original (part of them because of the prompt of course, but only part), so... disturbing in some sort. It made me sad in the end, maybe because I didn't thought that Severus will get letter from Hogwarts so soon, and his decision and feelings were... alive for me :) The only thing that is a little off character in this story is Hermione - in such a short time, she changed so much, she is acting like an adult while she is still so young, I mean that she is unusually controlled and... hm, sure of herself? I got this impression so strongly probably because we don't see a lot of interaction between her and her friends - Harry and Neville, we only see her with so much older Severus. But it doesn't really matter, Snape in this story is so well written, it's breathtaking!
I haven't read such a good story in a long time, thank you!
PS That part with questions: "How did you explain that you could love a place..." was very beautiful. |
