| I feel so badly for Severus. It seems his future is unavoidably set. Author's Response: As Doc Brown would say, "The future isn't written yet." :) Hmm... How much to reveal... Um... Let's just say that time travel theory is a tricky, tricky thing and all the options have not yet been explored. Having said that, some aspects of the future are unavoidable, as we'll find out soon. | Hmmmm... It was nice to reread this story, with the recent additions. I've enjoyed it so far, and I look forward to seeing what you'll do with the end of it - what will happen between the two before Hermione leaves, and how life will be once she returns. | Come on now! You have got to have written more during your absence! Did you write that much just to peak my interest?
Please, please, please update soon! (I've been checking every single day if any of my favorite fics -- this one in particular -- has been updated!)
I shall await though, for I know that writing doesn't come easily (I write in HPFF myself - Harry Potter era stuff & Marauder's Era).

| Had a great time reading this story today! Oh, I love how you're weaving all of this together. Your Hermione is fabulous, and Severus ... well, you've done a great job with him. I want to hug him and strangle him all at the same time. I like this version of Severus coming to Dumbledore much better than JKRs. ;) Looking forward to more! Author's Response: Hi shug! Thanks so much for the great comments! There are still a few more elements that have to be woven in, so to speak. These two people frustrate the hell out of me in this story... or maybe I'm more frustrated by what I have to put them through. But it's been a great journey getting into their heads, and I'm glad that it's paying off. What I liked about writing this version of Severus and Dumbledore's agreement is that it's motivated by Severus... not by his obsessive love for some girl, but by his truth that he wants to be a better man, and seeing a future like that for himself scared the shit out of him. I think motivations are everything, and I like Severus better by giving him these motivations. :) Thanks so much! | |||

| Oh this was a wonderful surprise! I'm on the brink of a massive squee-fest at the addition of this chapter! So I will; SQUEE! I must say, even I had a tear in my eye when Hermione hugged Hagrid. The confusion and emptiness she must be feeling is so palpable and heart-wrenching. And poor Severus! He's caught between a rock and a hard place, and the situation with Hermione isn't making things easier. . . I do hope they can somehow be together in the future, but I'm beginning to be doubtful :( Author's Response: Thank you for the squee! It is much appreciated. And the Hagrid moment was something that clawed at me to be written. She just seemed so down and that was the only thing I could think of that could possibly make her feel better. (Other than lemons with Severus, which would really complicate things...) All I can say about the future is what Doc Brown from "Back to the Future" would say: "The future isn't written yet." Well, okay, it's somewhat written in the very literal sense that I've been writing the story. Ha! Thanks so much for the thoughtful review! | |||

| I loved this last chapter! The turning point. I also feel bad for Regulus since he's the one who attempted to destroy the locker and I'm curious about his fate.
Love the story! Can't wait to read more!!!! Author's Response: I'm really glad you enjoyed the last chapter. The next one is written but not yet ready for posting. As for Regulus... I've grown way too fond of him through writing his character in this way. And I am dreading what he's going to have to go through.
