Reviews for A Time to Trust

Is Snape telling his master less information now than he did in Hermione's past?

Author's Response: Well, he is certainly leaving out the part about Hermione being the one to drag him away from the prophecy. I like to think that he's telling the story differently... maybe the basic details are the same, but the timing and way he presents things have possibly altered. GOOD question, though. It's definitely something worth pondering. Thanks for reviewing!

Thank you for updating. I was having a terrible day but this just made it so much better. keep up the great work.

Author's Response: I'm sorry you're having a bad day. Mine seems to be one of those up-down types. So, I'm glad that my story could help cheer you up and your review could help cheer me. Thanks!

Sooooooooooooo goooooood! Excellent time-turner story. Some are so...meh...but not this one!!!! Congrats on an excellent piece of writting: I can't wait to read the next bit. Cheers!

Author's Response: Thanks! I think my problem was that I always get sucked into TT fics but about halfway through, I get annoyed. So, I'm glad that this one is keeping you entertained, and I hope I can keep it interesting. Thanks for taking the time to review!

Love Love Love it! I love Sev having a male friend that isn't a Malfoy. I just love his sense of humor. I can't wait to see where this ends up. More Pretty Please!!!!

Author's Response: It was a ton of fun to write in a new male friend for Severus. Most stories that give him friends have him paired with a Malfoy, or in some case, a later friendship with Remus. I'm really glad you're enjoying the story. Thanks for taking the time to review!

I love the story. I usually avoid time travel fic's. Either they're getting increasingly MarySue-ish as the main character interacts with the denziens of the past and creates temporal inconsistencies by a dozen. Or, they deal with time travel paradoxes by showing that all the nasty stuff that happened to our fav. characters was in fact unavoidable, or even a direct result of an intervention - awfuly depressing stuf. Your fic is one of a very fev i really loved, steering clear of the "candy floss reef" while not being awfully depressing about the fates of the protagonists. I'm waiting for the next part.

Author's Response: Yikes! That's exactly what scares me about writing a TT fic. :) My betas have been helping me stay true to canon, which is actually REALLY hard when playing with the past. Plus, they will eventually have to face fate and/or the changes that have happened as a result of Hermione's influence. I'm hoping to steer clear of horribly depressing. I like angst as much as the next fanfic junkie, but I do eventually want Hermione to sort of get past his Death Eater/ Dumbledore's Murderer reputation. This whole "middle ground" scenario is really intersting to work in. I'm really glad you're enjoying the story! Thanks for reading and reviewing!

I am absolutely in love with this story, The way you portray young Severus is wonderful. You add little bits of insight and certain mannerisms, like the blushing, and they are COMPLETELY believable. Magnificent. I also like the way you are building up Regulus. Almost nothing is known about him from Canon, other than the strong hint about the locket/initials, and you are making him into a full character with little to go on,,.,and your Regulus is GREAT! Keep up the terrific work.

Author's Response: I love playing with these young guys. They're FUN at this age. They have little quirks that haven't been ironed out. Like I don't believe Severus has learned to control his blushing yet. I'm a girl, but I've found that I blush more in my twenties than I did in my teens. It's unnerving! And Regulus is shaping up to be one of my favorites. I have big plans for him (and his locket). So, I'm really glad you're enjoying his character in this story. Thanks so much for reading and reviewing!

This story has caught my fancy. Ilike Regulus and Severus together as you portray them. Looking forward to more.

Author's Response: Thanks! It's fun to give Severus a guy-pal (especially one that isn't Lucius). I'm glad you like them and there's more to come. Thanks again!
